  1. Raptor Grill Lights Installed & How To DIY

I've been trying to something similar and actually originally ordered those same exact lights off Amazon, but I have the Big Bend grill so they didn't work out. Awesome though that this works out so well the other grill style! Thanks for posting!
  2. 1" or 1.5" Leveling kit

Thanks! Here's the post- https://www.bronco6g.com/sleeping-deck-build-in-4-door-bronco/ Also, check this post out- it shows a SAS with this kit installed but he doesn't have the weight of the bumper and winch like I do so you'll get a better idea of what results you can expect (assuming you...
  3. Solution for popping/rattling MIC top!

I'm sure there are a lot of different ways you could solve this problem. I actually tried electrical tape and while it does work to eliminate the noise, after taking the panels off and on several times the tape starts to get nicked when dropping the pin down into the metal bracket and likely...
  4. 1" or 1.5" Leveling kit

I installed the 1.5"(got closer to 2" of lift) Fab-tech kit on my SAS and I'm very happy with the results, but I had also lost about 1/4"+ of height in the front due the weight of a warn bumper and winch install. If you want it to be level and not higher in the front, I think a 1" would be what...
  5. Fabtech 1.5” leveling kit - anyone install it?

I installed one on my SAS Big Bend last week. After I lost about 1/4 of height due to the extra weight of my Warn bumper and winch, the front was even more obviously low than when it was stock. The fab-tech lift is sold as being a 1.5" lift, but I got almost 2" of lift with my kit (although I...
  6. Solution for popping/rattling MIC top!

Great to hear it solved your problem!
  7. Solution for popping/rattling MIC top!

I reported the issue to the dealer when I had a loaner OB. Not sure what their official means of reporting the issue to Ford is though. I agree things like this need to be passed on.
  8. Solution for popping/rattling MIC top!

Great adaptation of the foam idea. I need to do something like this so I don't have to keep track of the foam scraps I've been using. It's good to know a much thinner material is effective. I haven't heard any noise coming from the rear panel or anywhere else on the top.
  9. Oh Sh!$ 2 Door Bronco with custom glass hardtop rolls over on trail

Cool, thanks. I hadn’t seen that. Not for me but great to see companies creating mods for the Bronco.
  10. Latest on obtaining roof rails for the 4D?

I just bought one from Badass. Won’t be coming for a few weeks though. Much more reasonable price wise than the other one I’ve seen that is available, and it holds 500lbs which is more than the OEM roof rails. The gobi is going to be really nice but I’m not ready to spend over 2K on a roof rack...
  11. Oh Sh!$ 2 Door Bronco with custom glass hardtop rolls over on trail

Anyone else want to know more about this glass top? Not that I want one but just curious about the details.
  12. Bronco 2.7 Ecoboost Detailed Oil Change. The missing 7th Quart

Is oil priming even necessary on these engines? After an oil change some oil remains on parts that require it, and upon starting the engine oil begins circulating within a few seconds I would imagine. It’s a cool idea but is the primary function for clearing flooded cylinders (does this even...
  13. 💤 Sleeping deck build in 4-door Bronco with photos, plans, and recommendations for a mattress and bedding setup.

Sorry to hear about your sick kid. I know how it is- trying to find time for projects like this can be difficult with a young family and I'm a bit surprised I was able to get it done myself! Looks like you started going through a similar process to what I did. I thought it was important to get...
  14. 💤 Sleeping deck build in 4-door Bronco with photos, plans, and recommendations for a mattress and bedding setup.

Yeah me too… The part of the mechanism that rotates towards the inside of the vehicle is covered by an enclosure. It may be possible to drill a hole in that enclosure to access a part of the mechanism that rotates towards the inside and attach a cable, etc. I’m not feeling “adventurous” enough...
  15. 💤 Sleeping deck build in 4-door Bronco with photos, plans, and recommendations for a mattress and bedding setup.

I’ll have to try tomorrow. The spring is pretty stout though (visible just to the left of the highlighted piece). I think one would need to employ some kind of mechanical advantage to actuate the mechanism but I’m sure it’s possible with the right design.
  16. 💤 Sleeping deck build in 4-door Bronco with photos, plans, and recommendations for a mattress and bedding setup.

Yeah wish this was possible on the hardtop but unfortunately the gate has to be fully opened before the glass can be lifted, although one could just leave the glass open and then close the gate. Still wouldn’t be super easy to reach down while inside and pull out on the bottom of the handle to...
  17. 💤 Sleeping deck build in 4-door Bronco with photos, plans, and recommendations for a mattress and bedding setup.

I was just telling a buddy yesterday that someone needs to come up with a way to open the rear gate from inside. The plastic plate on the inside comes off easily and I’m going to take a look and see if a simple pull could be rigged to the mechanism to release it.
  18. 💤 Sleeping deck build in 4-door Bronco with photos, plans, and recommendations for a mattress and bedding setup.

I will definitely need to come up with a solution as well, being in Georgia with the mosquitos we have here. It’s been so warm here that the other night when I slept in the Bronco with the windows partially down I was surprised by a couple of mosquitos that made their way in. Not usually an...
