  1. Shelby GT500 Powered 1968 Ford Bronco

    Wow! Thanks for sharing!
  2. What’s in your garage???

  3. Mud flaps/ Splash guards for Outerbanks

Ok, thanks for your answers and the photos. So, the shifted tube steps looks to be about the distance from your tires that my stock tube steps are from my rear Sasquatch tires now. Not sure that shifting the tube steps an inch closer to the rear tires will work. But I'd be curious how drilling...
  4. “BRONCO” Grill Badge Light Up

I would use a 12v circuit tester or a multimeter and test the Spare fuses with the truck off and with it on. That way you're not messing with a circuit for something important and possibly hosing it up. Just my 2¢.
  5. Wheel Locks recommendations?

I just added the locking lug nuts offered on the build and price site. Seem perfectly good to me.
  6. Mud flaps/ Splash guards for Outerbanks

Ok, cool. So, a couple of questions... In the last photo, I assume the factory holes are the left and right holes, from this perspective, with the rectangular imprints around them, and your new hole is the one in the middle. So you only have one bolt holding the tube steps onto each mounting...
  7. All the people with cracked windshields - repair or full replacement?

Front end of my CO OBX has the same Aeroskin II. No rocks yet (knock on wood)!
  8. Bronco Hit & Run

Dude, sorry. People can be such @$$holes! This is why I installed the BlackVue DR750X-3CH-PLUS in my OBX. May not catch everything that might happen, but will catch more than not having it at all. Good luck!
  9. Bronco Team Engineering Confirms 7.0 Quarts for 2.7L Engine Oil Change is Correct

Agreed. In my 40+ years of changing oil, the dipstick has always been the accurate tool to determine if you have enough oil in the pan. Doesn't matter how much you drain out - different engines under various conditions drain different amounts of their oil out - all that matters is that after...
  10. Blown 2.7 day 14

I think that @Ford Motor Company already missed the "quick" deadline, unfortunately.
  11. Hail Damage mitigation strategies?

Yeah, that's a tough spot to be in. I'd frankly take a less important car to leave at the airport, and not just because of hail. Even basic Denver winter weather for 4-6 days would be enough for me to leave it at home. But maybe that's not an option for you. There are "anti-hail" car covers out...
  12. Enough Broncos are being delivered that we're seeing them on the road occasionally

Yeah, mine looks a lot like your dealer's mannequin, except it's an OBX with painted mirror caps and door handles. I'm in Howard County near Elkridge, not far from Rt. 1 and I-95. Give me a holler if you're ever out this way in your new rig.
  13. Enough Broncos are being delivered that we're seeing them on the road occasionally

Took over two months from when I took delivery of my OBX (10/15) to see this FE in the parking lot of the local shopping center here in Maryland on 12/23. Only one I've seen in the wild since I got mine. I rolled up beside the woman who got out of it as she walked toward the grocery store and...
  14. RokBlokz says they are "getting close" to offering mud flaps for Sas + Tube Steps

Oh, yes, I'm sure they will be front and rear, but my point was that the front flaps need to fit around the front of the tube steps. I'd like to see how well they've accomplished that. Hope they don't look as if they were put together with bubble gum and chicken wire. 🤨
  15. RokBlokz says they are "getting close" to offering mud flaps for Sas + Tube Steps

Nice, but it's the front flaps that are the challenge. Any photos of the front flaps?
  16. Burning electrical smell coming from HVAC

~1,800 miles on my OBX delivered 10/15, and never smelled this. Have run the heat most days in November and December. Glad to hear it's going away for some who have experienced it, but I can't imagine that smoke and a burning smell is "normal." I'd look closer at the cause were it me.
  17. Oracle Grill Light Installation video

I think the parking lights are on whenever the ignition is on, so would just need to find a fuse in the fuse box under the hood that's powered only when the ignition is on and tap into it with one of these that's made for the physical size of the fuse you select (this one is for a Micro2 fuse)...
  18. Where did you relocate your badges to?

Just because they adhere with double-sided tape doesn't make them stickers. The rock deflectors on hoods and rocker panel covers use double-sided tape, but they ain't stickers. The new script badges are just modern versions of the originals. Different material and doesn't require holes to be...
  19. 🛠 9/6/21 Build Week Group

Wow! Glad you finally got it!
