  1. Parts check on 2" lift for SAS suspension

Time to lift my '23 bronco badland sas. It is no longer my DD and it's getting time to up the power and run 37's. I did bumpers, winches, and air compressor when it was new, time for more. My main question is can I use the 2" spacers if I do a diff drop? The Dobinsons's diff drop is 1"...

  4. Trans pan w/drain by Dorman

I was looking for a pan with a drain, as I'm a believer in fluid refresh every 30K or so. There is a lot of high dollar cast aluminum pans out there, all ~$300-$400, found a OEM style pan with a drain for $50, link below. For those that may not know Dorman is an OEM supplier, they made the...
  5. Bronco vs. Grenadier vs. the world

Below is the definitive op-ed for the state-of-the-art in 2024 for overlanding capable personal transportation. No further discussion will be necessary, and all youtube reviewers can move onto compact sedans from here onward. Since the richest man in England made the announcement in 2017 he...

  7. Expedition One front bumper and Baja Design LP6 lights

Mounted a pair of Baja Design's LP6 lights on the front via the expedition one bumper. I have to say with the sensors and camera there ain't much real estate. Not 100% this is the final location, also may wind up making a mounting bracket where they set closer to the grill and maybe on each...
  8. High Idle?

Is there a way for high idle on demand? Mainly for use in winching operations. Being able to use an aux switch to go into high idle and get more electrical power from the alternator is a handy feature on my other vehicles.
  9. Rocker switch locations? (not aux switches)

Does anyone want to share their switch location(s)? I have need for a two position rocker switch, so the aux switches will not work. Putting on off-road lights with high/low function. Also, in the past have hardwired in rocker switches for the winches. It seems wireless is the way to go...
  10. Front Upper Control Arm options

If there is a thread with a list of front control arm options I haven't found it. Going to start one here.... Looking at high end ones that are adjustable and larger joint; I've an aversion to cam bolts. Looking to get rid of the factory eccentric camber bolts and just use the top to adjust...
  11. Front collision piece, what to do with it?

So what are the creative ways to deal with this unsightly? It's no longer hid behind the oem bumper.
  12. Rolling on Goodyear Marshmallows

Had the Bronco for a few weeks now, little more than a 1,000 commuter miles on it. Zero off-road, ain't even pushed a hero button yet. To be completely honest that is why I bought it. Run around vehicle and an overlander. The plan is to put on some heavier bumpers, winches, air...
  13. Locker design or exploded diagram

Is there an explanation of the exact internal workings, preferably in picture form, of the Bronco locker? Been told the engage and disengage is immediate. Curious as to the exact design. I'm intimately familiar with the Jeep locker, don't ask how.
  14. Alternatives to mudflaps- bedliner, armor, ?

OK, I know I'm not the only one that cannot stand mudflaps. The only place I have them, and accept them, are on my dually. Post your alternatives to these unsightly abominations. I'm thinking of bed lining and then aftermarket rock rails and/or rocker panel armor. There has to be a...
  15. Synthetic winch rope demystified

With a lot of people new to the offroad world via Ford offering the bronco I thought it may be a good idea to post some facts about the use of synthetic winch rope. It is overall the best choice for recreational 4x4's and does not have to break the bank. Why use synthetic rope? Two...
  16. Show us your custom Sasquatch stickers, decals, badges..... 👣

I'm looking to add a subtle, maybe understated, sasquatch sticker to my ride. The kind that people may not notice, till they do. Looking at this one, 6" die cut, on the driver's side rear glass of hard top. Should show up on the tinted glass and be close to the CG paint. Looking for better...
  17. Why Has This Vid Not Gone Viral? 5th wheel pulled backwards....

  18. 4WP explains their 1" - 3" lift kit for the Bronco

This video covers how 4WP lifted the Bronco with a 1 - 3 inch lift. For some reason they have the deep dive videos Above and Below named in reverse.
  19. Bronco Sync Start-up screen while we wait....

Who else here put the Bronco Sync boot-up screen on their current Ford product? With Sync 3.4 and forscan its just a few clicks away.
  20. What is the latest on the pull out table? Did not make the cut or late avail?

The table seems handy. https://www.thedrive.com/news/37614/2021-ford-bronco-four-doors-sliding-tailgate-lets-folks-up-to-8-feet-9-inches-sleep-in-the-back Is it supposed to be a bolt-in deal that can be added later?
