2-dr Rubicon, 3.6, manual, hard top, steel bumper, LED and first safety group. I figured I'd add an aftermarket hitch since I'd only need a 4-pin for my towing needs.
EDIT: I was also lucky enough to find a couple 2-dr Rubicons near me to sit in, climb in the back and test drive. Both had...
I did the same. There are quite a few things I like on the 2-dr Jeep over the 2-dr Bronco (how the rear seat is fold and flip, plus it's designed to be removed easily). Ordered a 2-dr Rubicon with hard top on 2/15. It was built on 3/15. Just waiting on shipment to Granger (hopefully...
On 2/15/22, I ordered a 2-dr Rubicon to replace my non-existent 2-dr Badlands (7/31/20 reservation -- only 100K Broncos in front of me still). At the time, I was told it was taking 3-4 months from order to delivery for a Wrangler. I was assigned a VIN on 2/18. On 3/4, I was given a build date...
You do realize that Ford is just going to replace building walk-in orders with stock orders, right? It's not like they are magically going to only build retail orders....
I think you stated there were 11 previewed last week. Were there additional ones this week? Or I guess, what was the total previewed for this round of scheduling?
Thanks.
Correct. For BL, Sasquatch costs $4090 period.
Last year, Sasquatch on the BL cost $2495 and forced the 'upgrade' to the AT which added $1595 (so total of $4090). This year Ford has wrapped the price together so you cannot not pay for the AT even if you do not want it.
First, I think the B&P price adds mid, high or lux package to the base MSRP instead of listing it in the options/accessories price (I know it does for mid).
Second, if you add Sasquatch to the MT you are charged for the AT without getting it. There is a thread on Bronco Nation that performs...
Thanks John! Time to go price myself a Wrangler.
I'm surprised Jeep has not jumped all over this Bronco mess and offered something like: "Order a Jeep, show us your cancelled Bronco reservation, here is a rebate because we appreciate your business"
Ford had plenty of opportunities to close the so called loophole. They were aware of it, but they never did. I think it's still open. But now Ford is punishing dealers/reservation holders for using the system Ford designed and left in place. That's why I blame Ford.
If Ford had wanted the...
I think Ford will reopen reservations. This way a big dealer with extra allocation can have a customer place a reservation. Ford then builds that and can claim "see, we are filling reservations before stock orders just like we said we would...."
Being an early August reservation at Granger, for a 2-dr none-the-less, I have plenty of time to move my investment to something else that is way better
Seriously though, F is such a tiny portion of my portfolio and I've only held on to it for the story.
I never claimed having F was magical or even a wise investment. After my initial purchase, it went down. So I bought more to reduce my cost basis. I think I did that 2 more times.....but I do think it would have made a nice little story of how F bought me my Bronco..."Did I ever tell you the...
I bought Ford stock years ago when they announced the return of the Bronco. I figured it would be a hit and I'd make a nice profit.
After I reserved my Bronco, I joked with the family (and Albert at Granger) that Ford would end up paying for my Bronco via their stock. It's about 90%...
