I did not want to wade through six pages of this discussion and this may have already been posted, but Ford, nor any other vehicle manufacturer, is allowed to sell a new vehicle which has an open recall. I do not remember the amount of the fine for doing so, but it is a large amount, something...
I quit smoking in 2001, but would select lighter option as an emergency fire starter in case my matches got wet or I ran out of lighter fluid; I also have fine steel wool and 9-volt battery for fire starter---stored in different containers of course.
Almost forgot, Wrangler has no full canopy airbags, one of the last production vehicles to not have this safety feature; also, a similar equipped Wrangler Rubicon is about $4,700.00 more than my Badlands build.
I have owned two Jeep Wrangler's in the past, but plan to order a Badlands. Almost no Wrangler owners lower their windshields, but Jeep bosses insisted on keeping this feature in the latest generation. Every new Wrangler I test drove had terrible wind noise/leaks at highway speeds because of...
I am not familiar with Ford's start/stop system--is a secondary battery used to operate start/stop or the primary battery alone? Jeep used two different systems, the ESS (engine start/stop) which has a small motorcycle size battery located beneath the standard battery and this small battery...
I have seen some Jeep B & P sites taking months to get everything right; Ford is no slower than other auto makers sites; the only other Badlands accessory I would like to see is Rock Slider with Step Assist similar to the $1,000.00 option available for the Wrangler and Gladiator.
I don't know how tall the guy was in the how to video, but I noticed that the rocker panels were about midway to his thighs when he was standing next to the panels; the standard 33" tires will be best for my Badlands build. The Bronco in the video did have the 35" tires, right?
Wrangler Sahara & Rubicon have a Rock Slider with Step Assist as a $995.00 factory option; Ford will probably have a similar option available by the 2022 model year if not sooner.
My loaded Badlands build total was just over $57,000 with standard suspension & tires, but I want power front seats, so had to select leather trimmed seats which also includes carpet flooring. This is about six thousand dollars less than a similar equipped Wrangler Rubicon, but the Rubicon had...
Four door Outer Banks loaded up will probably be priced close to the Wrangler Sahara I just built on the Jeep website---$58,480 including transportation; the similar equipped Rubicon was about $5.000.00 more, so add about another 5 grand for similar equipped Badlands.
