You are correct there is not a huge difference; however the coil-overs are a different Part Number and they do ride at different suspension heights (there is debate on the actual height difference). They also have different fenders, badges and the crash bars are removed on the SAS to make more...

Perhaps you are right. After 20 years in Engineering I can assure you that we are not going to figure out all the differences on a forum. Too many dimensions and parts that could be different materials, etc. I am going to trust the Design Review process and hope the bean-counters weren't dumb...
