  1. How long do you plan to own your new Bronco?

Lots of honest answers, which is refreshing. I remember when the JLs came out and everyone was crowing they were gonna keep theirs for 10+ years. After 1-2 years you started seeing them show up on the "Jeeps for sale" page with stories about wanting something fresh lol
  2. Amazingly great one-year Bronco ownership review by TFL

TFL is really good, in my opinion. I like some of their reviewers more than others, and some episodes have that "stay tuned 'til the end of the video" nonsense, but they always seem to be honest and upfront with the vehicles and with how they as a channel operate.
  3. Picked up my bronco then got into a small fender bender. (Dashcam)

Yea, to me it looked like he was trying to avoid hitting the other car that wasn't yielding on a merge. I know everyone is calling for a police report, but that would probably complicate things and maybe not in your favor. If it didn't harm your bronco, I'd say just let it go. Yea, it sucks he...
  4. First Negative of the 2 Door... looks like Bronco Sport with a lift

You a cyclist? You're pretty good at backpedaling. Your comments were dumb and needlessly divisive. Just own up to it.
  5. Everyone Thinks the Bronco Pricey

Even with the SUV and truck craze of the last decade, the Civic and Camry continue to be in the top 10 of vehicles sold every year (with the Corolla usually a spot or two behind), and the further back you go, the more those smaller (and cheaper) vehicles sold; and many of them are still on the...
  6. First Negative of the 2 Door... looks like Bronco Sport with a lift

I know this will bruise some egos, but I'll be totally honest: Even being a forum person, I still sometimes mistake sports for real broncos from the front. If it's really dark I can also see the 2-door and the Sport being somewhat mixed at a glance. It's not that crazy for what I would wager is...
  7. Stats show no losers between Bronco and Jeep so far. Just expanded offroad SUV segment đź‘Ť

I'm not surprised at all. The JK in its latter half arguably kicked off the "lifestyle offroad" craze, and the JL took that into overdrive. The only thing I think that remains to be seen is whether gas prices will start to erode this craze, though (fingers crossed) the prices should start coming...
  8. What's up with Jeep guys

Wow... this is some pretty messed-up stuff.
  9. Well……. F! 5 car accident

Obligatory "please get the frame checked" comment (from experience, unfortunately). But I'm glad you're all ok, and good luck!
  10. What's up with Jeep guys

Gotcha. I have a family member who owns one (my gosh... I want to say at least eight years or something) and they absolutely love it. It's been up and down the east coast and has more miles on it than I care to acknowledge lol Anyway, something in my brain just kind of cracks every time an...
  11. What's up with Jeep guys

I agree, but on a side note: Holy cow I can't wait for the day when our collective forum intelligence moves beyond the Prius phrases. It will be a glorious day.
  12. My Bronco Died Today, Deep Into a Remote Trail [Fuel Pump Failure]

Hang on, I’m sure we can find you a bigger brush to paint with.
  13. Is Bronco a safe family car?

Here's a USA Today article that uses the IIHS: SUVs, pickups more likely than cars to strike pedestrians (usatoday.com) It's just physics, and I'm terrible at physics. The higher up your vehicle and therefore the higher up you're likely to make contact on a pedestrian, the greater chance the...
  14. Is Bronco a safe family car?

You're gonna get some flak and snark from some people, but you asked so here is the honest answer from another parent: No, the Bronco is not as safe as similar-sized SUVs for exactly the points you mentioned. Removable doors and top will never be as strong in a serious crash as doors and tops...
  15. Who buys a 1st year anything?

It's anecdotal, but I bought an '18 JLU and had zero issues with it. Was a fantastic vehicle, really. Kind of got the "jeep thing" out of my system after four years of it, but it gave me lots of awesome memories and zero headaches. Would do it all over again, no question.
  16. Bronco currently selling in similar numbers to Bronco Sport

The Sport seems like an excellent vehicle for a lot of people, honestly. I'm kind of over the trendy crossover market, personally, but that's where a ton of buyers are right now. I would take the Sport over a Compass, Renegade, or even Cherokee any day.
  17. Storage in new 4 door Bronco disappointing

The cry for attention is deafening.
  18. HOW COULD IT BE POSSIBLE?!?!

You’re purposefully exaggerating. They clearly never said you can’t ask questions. You, on the other hand, pretty clearly assumed their values and went on a multi-paragraph tirade about those assumed values. Be excellent to each other.
  19. "Bronco Tax" Analysis

I, for one, find it hard to believe a company, even <gasp> a good ol' American company, would do anything remotely sly when it comes to making money.
  20. 3 STAR & Unrated Crash Score!

@Broncotrax You’re not actually saying that all vehicles with higher crash test ratings are automatically “boring,” right? That would be an impressively narrow worldview.
