Thanks for the tip on the electrical tape. For anyone putting this off as I did for months. Do it. I only had one pin making noise and it didnāt (or I thought it didnāt) bother me all that much but it so pleasant to drive without the noise

Mine was built/ shipped the same dates as yours. It arrived at my dealer in NorCal 11/29. I donāt think yours took the conventional route especially given the estimates you were provided.
At $100 bucks I wouldn't be too concerned. Especially if install is easy. Throw it the gutter and go buy another when it fails. Probably still last a few years under harsh conditions

He down shifted coming into a couple tight turns so he could accelerate out of them. Overall he wasn't shifting very much. Driving was not labor intensive.
