    I made the jump in Jan and haven’t regretted the defender. I’ll eventually come back to the Bronco, but glad I decided to stop fretting and move on.

  5. I cancelled my reservation master thread

    7/13 reservation - out! Been a fun ride. Will revisit the purchase in a couple years and likely remain active on B6G. Still love the Bronco - just not in the cards for me right now.

    Roughy $5K at Hendrick (they have their own extended warranty, so would have to use them for service). extends coverage up to 7 years.

    From earlier posts, is Ford sending an email before we order? I’ve heard squat from my dealer. I have back up dealer in place for switch, but still can’t get clear communication on the expected process.

    I was considering one that was mid 50’s. Ended up getting my deposit back and not going through with it today though. Decided I wanna see how this bronco thing turns out.

    When they sent email days later saying it was bumped from 3500 to 7000 - kidding. Not sure anyone really knows.

    Fair point - frustrating. Emotion is defeating logic for me.

    This process is so dumb. I’m a day 1 reservation, but have conceded to wait for 2022. That’s only if I don’t pull the trigger on something else. Sorry for the negativity - but Ford has mismanaged this whole process.

    Update - slept on it - getting my $1K back. Still on Bronco fence. Put $1K refundable deposit down on one today - told dealer to let me sleep on it. I’m leaning toward buying it - weird if I get to order bank opening day and buy another vehicle.

    So first edition won’t be first? Or will Ford use up squatch materials on fe?

    Not too late. I believe end of this month.
