  1. Hybrid Ranger revealed: 2.3L PHEV / PowerBoost Hybrid... coming to Bronco?

Seems like it'd be a smart addition. I wonder what the power figures will be? Hopefully a healthy boost, I saw a rumor online of 360ish HP and 500 ft/lbs. That'd be big advertising numbers, and a nice little gap above the 4XE's output, for torque at least. More than than the Ranger's 28 miles of...
  2. Another Mall Crawler Bites The Dust!

Awesome! You gotta tell me your tricks, what was your secret to get her into off-roading?!? My daughter is only 2, but I need an adventure buddy out on the trails one day! That compressor and 4-way airhose setup is pretty cool though. was that an off the shelf hose, or something you rigged up?
  3. well, that was a horrible idea.....

I thought Jeep's "thing" was the moral obligation to perpetually scan traffic in all directions, in order to toss a two-fingered salute at any other qualified Jeeps. And the immense anxiety and shame at the thought of snubbing a wave from any of your fellow qualified Jeepers. edit: and the...
  4. The reason Bronco “Raptor” won out over "Warthog"

THIS. This is exactly what i thought of when I first heard the warthog name, and why I was so excited for it. Don't get me wrong, I love the A10, but I'm sure there's plenty of people out there who they want to market Broncos to that have spent hours driving a virtual Hog at some point in the...
  5. 🦖 Bronco Raptor Officially Confirmed and Teased by Ford!

Good Lord it's beautiful! Shelby's stuff may be overpriced and just a hodgepodge of other aftermarket company's parts, but their widebody kits look amazing. I saw a 2014 Shelby GT1000 at a car show, previous generation car, but that widebody still just looks amazing. Maybe we can rely on Shelby...
  6. Bronco vs Wrangler - Door and Roof Removal Comparison by Car and Driver

They aren't going to carry the doors with them? Based on what logic? Securing them in the cargo area is worth what paltry extra effort is required, compared to driving somewhere and not having the option of reinstalling them if needed.
  7. Bronco vs Wrangler - Door and Roof Removal Comparison by Car and Driver

Interesting they make no mention that the Bronco's doors can actually come along for the ride with you. You don't have to leave them in the garage or chain them to a tree. Also the additional panel that can be removed from the modular hardtop, without having to pull the whole shell off. Both are...
  8. Anyone else buying a Bronco because.... IT'S NOT A JEEP?

Lol ya, I always tell my Jeep buddies to talk to me about Death Wobble when you get it in a Super Duty, on the highway, with 16 round bales on a trailer behind you. That will give you PTSD. Ya, I was over the tow rating of the truck. But that 6.7 Powerstroke is a unit.
  9. Anyone else buying a Bronco because.... IT'S NOT A JEEP?

Somewhat. One of my friends used to have a 2-door Wrangler with a manual, and another currently has a Wrangler. I LOVE driving them. I like the tight turning radius and especially the open air feeling with the doors off. I considered an Unlimited for a while, but never pulled the trigger. The...
