  1. [How-To] FORScan Audio/Speaker Mods

I did a budget upgrade on my 2023 2 door. For about $300, I got the Fusion amp from eBay, Kicker sub, and 4" Infinity Reference series speakers in dash and rear pods. Also the Metra harness plugs and 600 Hz filters for the dash speakers. It made a big difference in the sound, I'm happy with...
  2. Glass shop scratched paint around windshield, is this normal?

Agree they should repair the paint damage. I wouldn't worry too much about the glass defect. If 'n (if/when)it eventually fails, it should be covered. But yeah, paint damage is on the installer.... there should be no excuses!
  3. Where the hell is my VIN?! Missing Windshield VIN

Agree the 'repo' vin sticker appears to be the best option. I take it Ford will not issue a replacement vin sticker? Your vin has already been verified. Taking the easiest/best cost option to replace it seems to be the best way to go. You're staying within the law/requirements to cya.
  4. October order, still no build date/VIN

The last list of constraints now includes the 2.7. So you now have hard top, Sasquatch and 2.7 possibly slowing your order. The Lux package was often a constraint in the past, but it's not currently on the list...
  5. REMEMBER 4 YEARS AGO?

I wasn't even considering buying a new vehicle at the time. I had heard Ford was coming out with a new Bronco, so I occasionally did a Google search that led me to Bronco 6G. I heard about the reveal date, and hit up the Ford site that evening. I thought it looked fantastic! I considered it for...
  6. October order, still no build date/VIN

Your order does have constraints....Hard top and Sasquatch package. That will delay your build. The latest constraints are posted here: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/latest-2024-bronco-production-key-commodity-constraints-total-retail-unscheduled-orders-2-26-24.89454/ For the 4 door...
  7. Where the hell is my VIN?! Missing Windshield VIN

Here's a different take..... The vehicle was serviced for windshield sealant and someone stole the vin tag. I know it's not easy to do or even likely it happened. Just thought I'd throw it out there as a remote possibility. I have to admit I'm intrigued as to why it's missing or what happened...
  8. Taking delivery, which Ford accessories to get with $800 credit!?

I applied my points towards an extended warranty from Granger. It would have been more fun to buy some accessories tho. Hood struts were on my list. They're supposedly the same as Redlines. Floor and cargo mats I bought elsewhere.
  9. Assembly Line Fail Brand New Bronco Dead Display

My 8" Sync 4 screen started blacking out within the first 1200 miles. It went permanently black about 2 months later (Nov 2023). Dealer tried to reload the software, didn't work. They ordered a replacement APIM module which took 2-1/2 months to arrive. They replaced the module, the screen worked...
  10. Undercoat or not to undercoat?

Corroseal is a rust converter. It also can be applied on painted surfaces as it will etch the surface and function as a primer. It's designed to be topcoated afterwards. I spent time on their website, there is no mention of it being a rust preventative. It will not shed water or prevent rust...
  11. Undercoat or not to undercoat?

I wanted to address your post as it may be misleading the OP towards a product which doesn't address their concerns. What you are describing (Correseal) is treating existing rust by converting it into another compound..... which will need to topcoated/painted. Undercoating has a different...
  12. Undercoat or not to undercoat?

Avoid the old style asphalt undercoatings. They will eventually trap moisture and increase corrosion. An annual application of a product such as Fluid Film/Woolwax works well. It soaks into crevices treating areas most prone to rust. There are others such as Surface Shield and Waxoyl, and even...
  13. Runaway Engine

    x2 Check your floor mat!
  14. Complimentary Ford Pick Up & Delivery and Ford Mobile Service — Vehicle Service That Fits Your Life

I'm only a few miles from the dealer, shuttle service works ok. I asked for a loaner once and got a damn Nissan! It took 3 visits and 3 months to fix the dead infotainment screen. Hope I won't have any other issues.
  15. Why would there be 80 miles on new Bronco?

The same March 2023 build week..... Friends Bronco arrived with 15 miles. It had shipped within 2 weeks. Mine took 2 months to ship and arrived with 56 miles. Figured it got shuffled between various holding lots. The underside was dirty.... lots of splash from dirty puddles, some even in the...
  16. Ebay Fog Lights

You should at least consider getting fog lights that you can legally use on the road, with a sae approved beam pattern. The ones you linked to aren't fogs, they have a 30* wide (very narrow) spot beam. Fog lights have a wide beam pattern that light up the shoulders of the road well. Sae legal...
  17. Transfer case hairline crack

That's what I'm thinking too.... it's just a line in your case caused by a defect in the mold that got mirrored in your case. It may just be on the surface. There are crack detection dyes avail, or maybe sand it down a bit to see if it just goes away. Likely nothing to worry about, but have your...
  18. Flooded Bronco Meets Crusher

That's a damn shame! Soooo many good parts. Maybe it got flooded with sewer water.... becomes a bio hazard.
  19. Used Value Dropping Fast

Carvana offer for my 7 month old 2 dr V6 BaseSquatch is $38k. MSRP was 46k, I paid 41k. With a 2024 2 dr with V6 and Squatch now over 55k, I expect mine to hold value better than most. My only other new vehicle purchase was my '91 F-150 Nite. I paid $18k for it (Invoice). MSRP was 20k and I bet...
  20. New Broaddict Rear "Discovery" Bumper?

Here's a pic from their Amzn page. You have to buy the optional $499 tailgate panel for the spare. The way it blocks the taillights is gonna be a problem on the road. (IF pic is accurate)
