I got my VIN and am scheduled for production the week of April 10. I was completely shocked - thought I'd be another year out because of "commodity constraints".
October reservation with Granger
Badlands - 2.7 - Dual Tops - Lux - Eruption Green
4D Badlands 2.3 (not SAS, but very similar suspension). I get 17-18 MPG (hand calculated - not from the lie-o-meter). I drive it like I stole it.
Highway MPG is only good if I'm 55 MPH or under...not gonna happen. My 1998 TJ got better gas mileage than this. But the Bronco is way more fun!
My order is with Granger and they have been amazingly helpful. If you want to get it earlier then give it a shot.
Based on my experience here is what I would recommend. Once you make a change, if your order is buildable and Ford wants to schedule it into production it will go into...
My first dealer converted my reservation without my permission and so I switched dealers. This randomly showed up from Ford with a nice note apologizing for the bad experience. Made my afternoon!
Damn -you're right on! I just glanced and assumed it was the hard top. The standard soft top is fully retractable - so I never considered they would make this as an aftermarket. It makes way more sense to have one for the hard top.
Great catch! Sorry for the thread hiccup :ROFLMAO:
I guess I'm confused. This has the rear hard cap - it is made as an addition for the hard tops. There is a version that retracts over the front two seats, and then this version that retracts over all 4 seats.

You mean this?
I’ve had mine at highway speeds regularly (75-80) and it tays tight - I’ve had zero flap issues. I was concerned about this at first but has never been an issue.
Smaller scale finishing (of which I have been part of for 20 years) has a large human factor involved. It is actually far more difficult to get identical matches than you think. If one part of the process is simply done lighter or heavier it will change the color of the final product. Or if...
There's a great thread on this here

And here is a brilliant idea from this thread. Sign up for the FordPass app with your VIN (once you get it). Hopefully someone...
I’ve never actually heard of the badge of honor program till today. I’ve personally done all the trails listed for Colorado except holy cross. Black Bear I did in a stock Scrambler and all the others I did in a stock 1992 Toyota pickup. A non - squatch Bronco won’t have any issues with the...
In AZ someone crawled under the 2 door Badlands and snapped a picture of the upgraded non-Sasquatch wheel and it was stamped as a 55mm backspace.

Glad you posted this. I've been thinking of getting a Black Diamond with steelies and putting the 33" KO2 tires on it. Looks like I'll have to get different rims to have the KO2s (that's what I have on my wrangler and I love them)
What? For real? You can sit in them and play with them? I fly in Thursday afternoon for the show - but I think I'm gonna skip the show and go visit the Ford dealership Thursday afternoon instead
