My 2023 Badlands behaves exactly like this. Build week was 5 December 2022.
I almost rear ended a car in heavy rain because the wipers set on high just stopped. So now when it’s raining I constantly tweak the wipers so they don’t slow or stop.
Yeah, I would think that Ford would have communicated this through an official email not only to the dealer but anyone with a order. Also I would think the communication would have been very specific and not so vague.
Ok so that makes more sense if this is just for option choices. That would keep 2 door models and 4 door Wild Track with soft top since the 2door is standard with hard top.
Yeah, I wonder if these are restrictions for NEW dealer orders once order banks are opened back up and the dealer just misunderstood. That would make more sense.
Me personally just find it hard to believe that Ford will not honor price protect on specific builds/packages.
That would drop all 2 door orders from price protection along with all Wild Track orders.
But I could be wrong. It wouldn’t be the first time.
@NayNay No, I meant how long did shipping take once it was built. I was trying to see how long I would have to wait for mine to be delivered if it was built on 8 Dec.
