Yes, both sides are latched. Mine also goes away when I pull down on that center bar. I think it may be that the latch isnāt clamping down tightly and thatās causing the squeak.
Keep in mind you can add floor liners to any model and essentially get the same effect. They are easy to remove and hose off as needed. I would have preferred no carpet but wanted some features of the Outer Banks which has carpet and just added the floor liners.
I just finished installing the Rekgens as well and am really happy with them. They fit nicely on my OBX Sasquatch. No drilling or cutting needed. The Goodyears eat rocks and love to throw them so mud flaps are definitely needed if you are driving on gravel.
Not good for me. My engine went out 2 weeks after picking it up. Itās now been almost 3 months and itās still at the dealership with parts on back order.
UPDATE: I got the dreaded call today from the dealership stating the engine has failed and will need to be replaced. I have heard of this happening with some of the 2.7s but not many 2.3s. I have owned it for less than a month and babied it the whole time. Only had 625 miles on it.
Original...
I didnāt like them either at first but after being on this forum for a year and a half they have grown on me and I now donāt plan to make any changes.
I disagree. Wheels and tires alone likely put you around the price of squatch. And you get a lot more with squatch (front + rear lockers, bilsteins, proper gearing, etc). Going aftermarket is going to cost much more. I went squatch OBX for that reason.
I ordered a few accessories through accessories.Ford.com back in early July and still have not heard anything. The status shows āprocessingā when I login to the Ford accessories website. Iām not sure if that type of delay is common but you may want to order ASAP of you want to get it any time soon.
Thatās because thatās anā order confirmedā email and not a āscheduled for productionā email. I got that email back in February and have yet to receive a build date.
