I've got a PWD and she goes in my car almost daily. I'm getting a 4dr Badlands so she can hang out the back windows. I'm getting leather and I've never used a cover or anything for her and she's been just fine. If my off road vehicle can't handle dog claws....
I love my heated steering wheel. I used to think it was so pointless, but the moment it gets cool like it's been lately, I roll the windows down and open the sunroof but pop the heated steering wheel and seats on and I'm happy as hell I have them.
If the B&O is ~$1K ala carter I'm getting that and bucking the Lux package! As much as a I love my steering wheel, I could save a chunk like you said. I'm just prepared for it to be closer to $1500 to make it a little easier to "just pay $800 for the whole package".
I don't know, but I don't think $2300 is a lot of money when we're talking packages on a vehicle. Especially when you factor in a ten speaker B&O set up. That's probably $1500 right there. I have a heated steering wheel now and I'm very spoiled by it. Thought it was a gimmick, yet I find myself...
Not at all. I'm more excited about this thing than how I was when I got my current vehicle. The long lead time gives me a ton of time to budget and learn about off road vehicles. I have only driven cars and only cared about horsepower admittedly. This has seemingly unlocked a new interest for me...
I like that though. One color, but tons of different showings of it. For me, when I think of cars, I think about that 40 degree rainy day when the weather is shlt. What's going to catch my eye when I begrudgingly walk to my car in the back of the parking lot?
That's what I've learned. I don't know much about suspensions, but I know the 2.7 and the Bilstein's are a wise investment "stock". Throw in the locking front and rear and that's pushing me for the BL being the best bang for your (big) buck for the novice like myself. I remember the fuss about...
I'm leaning Cactus Grey heavily. I love the look of it with the top off. Very summer/warm weather friendly. But with the black accents, it's got a semi-menacing look without being truly intimidating. Almost like something you'd see in Mission Impossible. My car now is red and I'm never touching...
Frankly, nothing other than cost and if I feel like it. I drive a BMW now and while I love it, I'm not excited about things once the warranty wears off. Luckily, I've got enough time left even with the expected delays on productions. But I've always wanted to truck to ride around with the wife...
Does anyone have any experience/info on tuning a 2.3 vs a 2.7? If it makes more sense to save the money and just tune the 2.3, it may sway things for me.
Thanks! Definitely wouldn't even use the Base to it's full capacity lol.
I think the BL specific suspension helped push me from the OBX. I'm hope with that, the 33s, and the 2.7 make it a fun ride stock. Leather seats, 12" nav, and B&O make it comfortable for the Mrs. Take the doors and roof...
I'm leaning towards the Badlands, even though it's more than I originally anticipated spending. The more I've gone back and forth, I've tried to focus on future proofing the Bronco and I think Badlands does that the best for me. Do I offroad? No. But if I want to, being in Nashville, I want...
I've got to say, I've been lurking this forum since the Bronco was announced but this post made me make an account just to say this is a VERY good post. I've been trying to figure out between Black Diamond and later mods (I've literally never done anything offroad related), Outer Banks, or...
