I believe Jones has stopped the invoice pricing and everyone else is now at MSRP. Jones had just under 100 reservations and had allocations for a quarter of those. Some people that weren't making the cut have gotten vins due to the deadly four.
The dealer could simply force you into MY'22 since they will have a mechanism to do that in order to secure another customer they know is chomping at the bit. ?

I had a soft top for 3 years. I was broken into 5 times. One time the person actually used a lighter to melt the plastic rear window to gain access. All he needed to do was unzip it... :(

This is why Ford takes the "Top Heavy" so seriously. They are still dealing with lawsuits. I am sure we can purchase the rails after via the parts dept... I'm disappointed, but not mad.
I have done business with Jones Ford in the past. They are in smaller towns (Casa Grande, Wickenburg). However, I negotiated 1k below invoice with them when the new Explorer came out back in 2011. I am going to reach out and see.
Yeah, I was able to do this same thing with the Badlands, with hard top, v6, and SAS. Add the bimini top and it shows the rails instead. I was all excited. I figured if all else fails, since they are removable, I will have the dealer order the rails for me and I will add them myself.
The mid package include remote start. You can't remote start a manual transmission... If you leave the vehicle in gear and remote start, bad things happen....
