  1. Armrest Window Switch Replacement

Thanks for posting. The rubber coating just peeled off of my passenger switch today.
  2. IAG steps - not holding up well to the elements

I had a rust issue with my IAG step rails for my 2 door Bronco. They were on my Bronco since August. I sent pictures to Sales/Customer Support ([email protected]). I received a quick response and explanation of the previous powder coating issues. IAG sent me new steps and I returned my...
  3. Who's built and installed a factory roof rack? need opinions on my 2 options

Just to close the book on my rear rail fitment issue - I brought it to my dealer. They removed the side rails from the roof and tried to install it the rack roof fully assembled. They ended up having to cut slots where the screws are in the rear rail so they could adjust the rail to make the...
  4. Who's built and installed a factory roof rack? need opinions on my 2 options

Thanks again for posting. It looks like my rails are the same distance.
  5. Who's built and installed a factory roof rack? need opinions on my 2 options

thanks - that may be helpful. I'll measure mine tomorrow.
  6. Who's built and installed a factory roof rack? need opinions on my 2 options

Sorry - i had it backwards. When I get the rear cross bar in place, it pushes the footings outwards (not inward as i previously stated). I included the pic trying to illustrate the issue.
  7. Who's built and installed a factory roof rack? need opinions on my 2 options

Yes - i tried that too and had the same result. the rear cross bar pulled the side rails in toward the center of the roof, so the rear side rails can't be seated properly to be clamped down. When one side is seated (still loose and not tightened with the triangle tool) the opposite side falls...
  8. Who's built and installed a factory roof rack? need opinions on my 2 options

No offense taken, but if I am missing something really simple on this install, it will be a blow to my self esteem. The first attempt at installing, i had tightened the side rails down first, front and back. When I couldn't get the rear rail screws in, I loosened everything up and was able to...
  9. Who's built and installed a factory roof rack? need opinions on my 2 options

Hi Rick - thanks for the response. I've tried reversing and it does not work that way either. Plus the contour of rail won't match the forward rail or the cover contour. I'm pretty sure I've got the rail facing the correct direction. I've included some pictures to show that my rail just doesn't...
  10. Who's built and installed a factory roof rack? need opinions on my 2 options

Did you have any issues with the rear rail on the roof rack? I have a 2 door and installed the side rails (pretty simple), but the rear cross rail does not line up correctly. I know I have the crossbar in the correct position, because of the contour of the rail, and the screws line up with the...
  11. Stock Black Diamond Grabber tires with optional factory rims - feedback / photos?

I've had my Bronco since the end of June. I like the Grabbers. I've been mainly driving on pavement and a few dirt roads. They are pretty good on the highway. They do pick up some rocks, but I think any AT tire will. I was concerned that they would look small too, but I think the look pretty...
  12. Black Diamond 2dr. Anyone get one built recently?

I have a 2 door BD, 2.7, Mid, Tow, non sas. Build week was 5/30. Actual build date was first week of June and I received it in late June. When I was following the 5/30 build week thread, it felt like there were a number of Black Diamonds being built. I wasn't keeping track of the models/trims...
  13. Bronco Team 2 door.

Hopefully yours will be scheduled for production soon!
  14. Bronco Team 2 door.

I was thinking I could remove/roll part of the bimini back if I needed to use the tent pole to keep the rain from pooling on the Broncover. That way the bimini wouldn't interfere with the tent pole. I'll have to see when I receive everything. At least I just received my Bronco!
  15. Bronco Team 2 door.

I have the same plan. I ordered the Jtop mesh bimini and I am going with the Broncover rain cover. I don't think there will be an issue using both, but I didn't ask. Below is the email I used to contact them. I emailed a little while back to see when their 2 door covers would be available...
  16. Bronco Team 2 door.

Maybe it would work. I would email them this picture and see what they think.
  17. Bronco Team 2 door.

I think the issue you will have is that the cover is fitted to the roll bars and not the soft top. The soft top is squared off in the back while the roll bars slope down. So the cover would be shorter to fit the roll bars and won't have enough material to reach/cover the back of the soft top.
  18. Bronco Team 2 door.

Broncover USA is now offering a 2 door cockpit cover. I just ordered one. Website says it is an all weather cover made in the USA. (I am not affiliated with the company). https://www.broncover.com/
