Thanks. That’s very helpful. I know the tires can make a huge difference in the ride feel and noise. Those things can be modified easily between trims, as can sound deadening options. I just wanted to make sure that the driving experience of acceleration, handling etc didn’t feel “cheaper” at the...
I know it's hard to say yet, but I was wondering if Ford truck owners see a difference in ride quality between trims in the F150, Ranger etc. People talk about higher end trims but that seems to be about tech features. I'm deciding between a Base or BD, and don't need or want all the tech of the...
Just got some swatches from wet okole. They’re nice. Much smoother to the touch than my wetsuit. Makes choosing base with aftermarket cover very attractive vs BD with MGV.
OP thanks for the info. Great story.
Can anybody with firsthand experience of both MGV and Katzkin covers provide a comparison? I'm going to be using my Bronco as a DD when I move to socal.
I see a lot of fans of the wet okole brand. whenever i hear neoprene i think of my actual wetsuit and find it hard to believe that material would feel good on a daily driver. Wondering how it feels on bare skin if youre wearing shorts as well as going to work in dress pants. Does it actually...
I've been trying to decide between BB and BD, but am now favoring Base with my own upgrades in terms of tires/seat covers. My son has a JL sport. We upgraded the wheels and tires thru tirerack and the dealer switched them out for us before pick up. Now it has a more aggressive stance, is a good...
I'm between BB and BD. Was going to go BB with Katzkin, but if i can live with the MGV color once i see it in person, will probably go with BD since the cost difference is a wash after paying for the aftermarket seat covers.
Thanks. I had thought that if I'm paying about 2k more (can't remember the exact price diff btw BB and BD) to get MGV, maybe it's cheaper to go BB and add Katzkin seat covers. When I did a quick search on typical prices for Katkzin installation though, the range is reported to be 1500-2200...
I'm set on VB but don't like the interior options, so will look to aftermarket seat covers. Thinking light grey or a light brown. Anybody else have suggestions for a good light interior color to blend well with VB?
I'm still just baffled that they don't have a light and dark interior option for each trim. If you're competing with Jeep, all you had to do was look at their build page. Each trim allows you to pick black or tan seats. It's the basic minimum. I was looking forward to nicer options with...
I'm shocked by the absence of interior color options. Jeep offers a tan vs black interior for their trims. I kept looking around B&P thinking I was missing something. My Bronco will be a DD and used at the beach, so I don't need all the offroad options. This just makes it easier for me to buy...
Ford, you have two choices:
Sell me a bronco with MGV in a light color, or
Sell me your cheapest bronco seat that I will cover with an aftermarket cover.
