If I needed to choose today, itād be WT. You get SAS and the 2.7 standard. Itās tough saying thereās āvalueā in a $50K truck, but between the two, I see more value in the WT due to the standard options in the trim vs. optional adds in the BL.
The only things Iām taking away from these pics are that I think I definitely want the washout interior, and vinyl seats. My trunk now has leather/carpet but that feels... excessive (maybe?) here.
When I owned a convertible, I never put the top up (unless it was raining/snowing). My logic was that if I left it up, then I could come back to a cut top, or broken windows, or both. Leaving everything down, with āfreeā access to the car just made financial sense.
Iām in suburban Massachusetts. If anything, itāll (BD 4D) see some time on a beach down in the Cape, or Vineyard. Mostly though, itās going to be my DD. Iāll get the SAS package because I think it looks cool AF, and my kid will love it. I will bitch and moan when it snows, because my cool AF 35ā...
Still need a car seat for my son. 4 door all day long. I like the proportions of the 2D (especially with the cut-out doors they had on the Cyber Orange reveal truck), but practically wins the day.
How will SAS do in the snow, though? Iām up the road in MA, and thatās my biggest concern with the package. I donāt have the wallet depth to drop $3.5-5K on SAS and then turn around and drop at least another $1.5 on a set of 35ā winter tires & wheels...
Is anyone concerned about the Getrag with increased HP from a tune? Iām reading that itās close to its limit with the stock 2.3. Be a shame to get to 400-ish HP, and leave your gears on the street.
My experience with turbocharged engines began in a ā06 WRX with a Stage 1 map from COBB. It was a complete BEAST. Iām really excited to see with the TT V6 brings to the table. Iām 50, and have owned more than a few V8s in my time (ā68 GTO with a 400SB, ā67 āCuda with a 383, and a ā70 Nova with a...
New guy to the whole off roading thing. Always been a muscle car guy. But I branched out when I had my son (more room for his seat, and the height of my current truck is a bonus). I always loved the 70s era Broncos, and was eagerly awaiting this iteration. Im in a MOPAR lease for another 2...
Iām right down the road from them. The guys seemed cool, but they gave my MiL a bit of a run around, which makes me wonder. Was thinking of checking Imperial in Mendon
