  1. Wildtrak vs. Badlands.. (Post Pricing survey).. Which one works better for your lifestyle? Why?

If I needed to choose today, itā€™d be WT. You get SAS and the 2.7 standard. Itā€™s tough saying thereā€™s ā€œvalueā€ in a $50K truck, but between the two, I see more value in the WT due to the standard options in the trim vs. optional adds in the BL.
  2. New preproduction Broncos off the line: Area 51, Cyber Orange, Rapid Red, Iconic Silver, Race Red, Soft Top

Agree, totally. These pics seal the deal for me-trim levels without bodycolor flares or mirrors
  3. Completed Badlands 4-Door Bronco in Race Red

I know itā€™s a render, but this looks light green to me, not grey... not a bad thing at all, really. I kind of wish they HAD a light green. Lol
  4. Dumbest reason you’re choosing a Bronco, particular trim, or option??

BD, soley because itā€™s the only trim with steelies, and I like the look.
  5. 2.3 vs. 2.7 ultimate pro/con list

ā€œPlastic oil panā€ scares the hell out of me.
  6. Pre-Preproduction tester 4 Door Bronco Interior and Underhood Pics

The only things Iā€™m taking away from these pics are that I think I definitely want the washout interior, and vinyl seats. My trunk now has leather/carpet but that feels... excessive (maybe?) here.
  7. Second thoughts on cyber orange?

CO with black steelies and tube doors. All in.
  8. Roof off security

When I owned a convertible, I never put the top up (unless it was raining/snowing). My logic was that if I left it up, then I could come back to a cut top, or broken windows, or both. Leaving everything down, with ā€œfreeā€ access to the car just made financial sense.
  9. Let's Be Honest About Our Intended Use

Iā€™m in suburban Massachusetts. If anything, itā€™ll (BD 4D) see some time on a beach down in the Cape, or Vineyard. Mostly though, itā€™s going to be my DD. Iā€™ll get the SAS package because I think it looks cool AF, and my kid will love it. I will bitch and moan when it snows, because my cool AF 35ā€...
  10. ALL trims, “equal” spec’d, 4-door

BD as specced is the way to go, I think. Especially if you come into the dealership with a decent down payment.
  11. Badlands Sasquatch (Cactus Gray) spotted in Pennsylvania

Because Ford doesnt want a $1,900 option on a tester? ?ā€ā™‚ļø
  12. Is anyone having trouble deciding between 2-door and 4-door?

I had a ā€˜68 Goat when I was 19. If I could go back in time, and tell myself not to sell it...
  13. Is anyone having trouble deciding between 2-door and 4-door?

Still need a car seat for my son. 4 door all day long. I like the proportions of the 2D (especially with the cut-out doors they had on the Cyber Orange reveal truck), but practically wins the day.
  14. Badlands Sasquatch (Cactus Gray) spotted in Pennsylvania

How will SAS do in the snow, though? Iā€™m up the road in MA, and thatā€™s my biggest concern with the package. I donā€™t have the wallet depth to drop $3.5-5K on SAS and then turn around and drop at least another $1.5 on a set of 35ā€ winter tires & wheels...
  15. Not a gear head so explain to me 2.3 vs 2.7 . . .

Is anyone concerned about the Getrag with increased HP from a tune? Iā€™m reading that itā€™s close to its limit with the stock 2.3. Be a shame to get to 400-ish HP, and leave your gears on the street.
  16. Manual or the 2.7

I love MTs. But I also love more cylinders. So, unless (until?) they offer a MT with the 6, Iā€™m sticking with the bigger engine.
  17. 2.7L FASTER THAN 5.0L

My experience with turbocharged engines began in a ā€˜06 WRX with a Stage 1 map from COBB. It was a complete BEAST. Iā€™m really excited to see with the TT V6 brings to the table. Iā€™m 50, and have owned more than a few V8s in my time (ā€˜68 GTO with a 400SB, ā€˜67 ā€˜Cuda with a 383, and a ā€˜70 Nova with a...
  18. Hello from Massachusetts!

New guy to the whole off roading thing. Always been a muscle car guy. But I branched out when I had my son (more room for his seat, and the height of my current truck is a bonus). I always loved the 70s era Broncos, and was eagerly awaiting this iteration. Im in a MOPAR lease for another 2...
  19. Anyone interested in getting together for a New England purchase at a single dealer?

Dammit, Albert! Why do you have to be from here to Florida away??
  20. Which dealership are you using?

Iā€™m right down the road from them. The guys seemed cool, but they gave my MiL a bit of a run around, which makes me wonder. Was thinking of checking Imperial in Mendon
