For sure. I will always ride in the summer with the soft top. We just take a lot of car trips and the security and less noise would make the hard top a good choice for then. In the winter it would be a bit nicer too, but the soft top is still fine in the winter.
This thread is KILLING ME!! Reserved - 7/14/20 - Ordered - 2/1/21 - Built - 9/12/21, Delivered - 9/22/21.
Still no email... But I can't stop watching you all get yours delivered... Congrats on yours. I'll just show myself out.
Well that sucks. I was going to order both, but my dealer told me I wouldn't get it so switched before the order. I hope that doesn't disqualify me from ordering one soon.
@Ford Motor Company ?
This is one of the main reasons I got the bronco! Love it with the top down and the tube doors on. Last year picture. It hasn't been quite warm enough here yet this year.
Ok. Thanks. Thought it was supposed to be automatic but that makes sense. I still have a hard time trusting it when approaching traffic at faster than 45 mph. Seems like I get too close before it starts slowing down. Guess I have trust issues...
Anxious for the full write up to get speed limit sign recognition working. I've tried and I get the error message about it not being available. For those that have stop and go working, how long can you be stopped before it kicks off. Mine seems to be like 3 seconds. Not sure if that's normal.
I'm guessing, but I bet there's some interjection from ford here. Every time some claims to be close they stop posting their progress. I'm sure you will never see the steps posted here. You'll need to find them IRL and buy them a beer to get the details.
They have told me there were no updates to it and that it should work, but it's not for me. Here's a picture from mine. You can clearly see that it blocks about 1/2 of the sensor, so not sure how they can say that it does work.
I have the winch plate and a bandland apex 12000 lb winch. They claim the ACC works in place, but it didn't for me. I used a relocation for it from DV8 offroad and it works fine. Only issue I have had is on long rides the bugs will splatter it and cause it to stop working. I also relocated the...
I'm at 46k on mine. On my last road trip with them right now. Just got oiil change before I left and ford marked them as yellow on the scorecard. Almost all of the miles are highway. We've taken the bronco on lots of road trips since I got it.
Feel for you. Just got back from visiting the Badlands and noticed one of our dachshunds did this to the back door of my bronco. Just got back from Ford, it's considered part of the full door panel. They quoted me $600 (saw it elsewhere for $550). Guess I'll have to get used to it...
Any recommendations for someone whose ACC still isn't working with this winch plate? When looking at it from the front, more than 1/2 of it is being blocked. Is it working for anyone other than the manufacturer?
Never found a resolution. After unblocking the ACC module and driving a lot of miles, it cleared the error. I do still sometimes get the blocked message, but typically clears quick enough that I can still use the non-adaptive cruise. I wasn't sure if there was a separate fuse for ACC. Was...
