I finally got my Bronco back! A little over $23,000 in repairs, I must have been real close to the threshold for totaling my vehicle. Surprising how much damage there was to repair seeing as how it didn't look THAT bad after the accident.
Thanks! Havent heard from the insurance adjuster yet but keeping fingers crossed. Sorry for your loss! Glad youre alright and hope you arent too sore today
Same thig happened to me yesterday 😢 Driver in the left lane took a right hand turn in front of me and i T-boned him. Damage doesnt look terrible but airbags deployed. Other driver took off, hit another car, and took off on foot. Cops eventually caught him but he doesnt have insurance.
I would probably just use Loctite and cross my fingers that the extra bit of effort will make someone give up if they try to steal it. It would be a pain if you ever need that spare tire though.
^ this is probably a better idea
I'm truly jealous of all of you that have the space, tools, and know-how to be able to DIY installs like this, I wish I had access to the proper tools and had the guts to just start taking things apart. I wanted to install a simple level kit and was quoted around $1200 from 4WP to install a $100...
My anxiety hurts looking at that picture! Good to know that the bar turns yellow when you get really low, although I'll probably never see it in real life lol
To put my personal experience and wait time into perspective, in 2004 I came across the Bronco concept image online while I was shopping for my first ever vehicle. And so began the wait. Ended up buying an '83 Bronco for my first vehicle, it was in rough shape to start with and at that age, I...
I had this same experience when I first got mine. Received it in Dec 2021 and living in MN, I almost always use remote start in the winter. Every time I got in the Bronco I noticed a burning plastic smell and wondered if it had something to do with the heater or heated seats but decided not to...
It's insane that service departments at dealerships don't know what they are doing. I got an oil change and tire rotation a few months ago and admittedly, didn't check to make sure they did their job. A few weeks later I was messing around behind the bronco and realized the spare tire still had...
Maybe it has something to do with people pulling the switch right off of there in the 2021 models? When I went to Off-Roadeo they mentioned being careful with the parking break switch because lots of people have been ripping them off lol. I haven't even used mine once
Same experience here. Can't find an obvious spot where it is leaking but every rain I have new streaks down the inside of the glass and just realized this morning that it pools in the bottom lip of the window. Found out when I opened the glass and it dumped a quarter cup of water on my head lol
So I reached out to the local dealership where I service my Bronco and asked about scheduling the driveshaft replacement due to the recall and was told that they won't replace it until i start having problems. If problems arise, they will inspect it and if it turns out to be related to this...
I bought these about a year ago and absolutely love having them! My screen was COVERED in finger prints and it seemed like I had to clean it off every few days. I don't think I've had to clean my screen even once since installing them.
When I bought these, it came with protectors for the...
That's awesome that the wind fairing helped MPGs that much! I might have to consider getting one. I didn't put any more thought into it after I realized that the wind noise didn't get any worse having the tent up there.
Nice setup! The matching tent and hardtop are pretty sweet! You mentioned that you haven't seen that combo on anyone else's rig, I'm guessing its because the weight of the iKamper Mini wouldn't really require a beefier rack than the OEM rack. That was the only reason I bought an aftermarket...
