Driving a Bronco doesn't make you less boring (or cool). Driving a 4Runner doesn't make you boring (or uncool). 4Runner sales went up and stayed up, it's reliability is not just perceived, it's been the same for a long time, they worked the kinks out of it. The next gen will not be as...
50 and rain here in Maine...and lots of wind. Top of a pine just fell outside my office, hit the propane tank and vented the contents of the tank to atmosphere (300 gallon tank). Guess if the power goes out, the generator isn't going to run so we will all just go home early.
Supposed to drop...
Agreed, if they made a Bronco with a fixed roof and doors that don't come off but otherwise the same, I'd be interested. I mean the top down aspect had me interested anyway.
As for my comment regarding 35's on a Bronco, I didn't mean the actual size of the tires, I meant that it seems the...
It will most likely either remain in Japan or be built in the same plant as the Tacoma (in Mexico).
For 33's, BMC maybe, plastic bumper maybe, depends on your wheels. But I havent seen anyone who had to cut fenders to fit 33's.
An for those who say yeah but the Bronco can be had with 35's...
Not entirely surprising but the amount of ignorance here is astounding (then again, the number of Toyota fanboys on 4Runner forums is equally astounding)
"new" taco? It's been the same since 2016 (unless I missed a leak of the 2024....)
2.7L Sas is rated 1mpg better city, 2mpg worse hwy...
So, I clearly don't have the patience that some of you have. I talked to my dealer in July and obviously still cannot order. 3 months in, looking at at least 2 more months before I could order and then what...a year wait if I'm lucky?
I'm putting a deposit on a TRD Off Road 4Runner this...
The Coyote makes less peak torque and certainly less torque at low RPM than the 2.7, torque = acceleration, hp = top end. Of course, if they're limiting torque on the 2.7 in first and second like I've read (somewhere around here), simply unlocking that would probably make a world of difference...
There would be some benefit to not running a spare while towing (although it would be more risky.) Saving 90lb from payload (on a 'squatch) and not having to deal with the tire/hitch conflict.
Maybe once I get the Bronco and Trailer I'll look for a way to relocate the spare to the...
Yeah, I don't get all those guys demanding the V8, why they want less torque is a mystery to me.
As for one change I'd have made...fixed hard top option. I get that the removable top is a big deal on a Bronco but...
I kinda want to hear from the people who were there Friday the 14th and saturday the 15th.
I know some places in the mountains of Maine got 10+ inches of rain and what would normally be small streams this time of year were raging torrents (I hike...well, when I'm not dealing with an...
Contemplating picking up a used TRD Off Road 4Runner, figure I'll have a couple months to drive it before I can even order a Bronco, who knows, maybe I'll like it.
Still think they should do a fixed roof version of the Bronco...
Looked at one of those at the Fair last weekend. Kitchen in the back is a little high for me and worse for my GF since she's only 5'2".
they do have a slightly bigger model with the kitchen inside that seems to still fall below weight and tongue weight limits.
Hitch weight on that airstream...
LMAO, keep believing it. That tune that is right on the bleeding edge and worked fine for the first 99 people that installed it, when it causes an issue with your engine, your warranty WILL be denied because as much as you claim they have to 100% prove it, in order to get to that point, you...
This is one of the things I tend to point out when people who spent the money try justifying their purchase by putting down spacer lifts.
Not that there aren't downsides to the spacer lifts but unless there is contact limiting droop, you don't lose downward travel (my Frontier had a 2" spacer...
If you got HOSS 3.0, probably (but that means you have a 22 with the HOSS 3.0 option or you are getting a 23 when HOSS 3.0 becomes standard).
WT without HOSS 3.0? same tie rods and steering rack as everyone else
WT without Hoss 3.0 is just a built BB. With Hoss 3.0 it is different though. Aftermarket will catch up on the suspension side and tie rods but not the upgraded steering rack (have those guys figured out how to get the upgraded rack working as a swap-in yet?). And, of course, if you want high...
