  2. [CLOSED] GIVEAWAY: DIY Windshield Protection Film Kit (exoshield) for your Ford Bronco!

Just over a year. Still on the original windshield, but I have a large crack that is slowly growing so it is only a matter of time until I will have to pull the trigger on a replacement.
  3. Sirius/XM cutting out issues

Can you give any more detail on how you connected it up? Did you disconnect the OEM antenna at the roll bar and extend from there? I get poor reception when my rooftop tent is on, but I got the SiriusXM subscription so that I could have music when camping in an area without cell. Ideally, I'm...
  4. Pulling a stuck Jeep out with my Bronco

And then folks will complain when the forest service closes the entire area.
  5. Lowest tire pressure you are willing to run offroad (without bead locks)

I'm new to airing down. With my Bronco, I haven't yet done anything where traction was a problem and airing down would have made a difference. Recently, I was in southern Utah where we had to take the same lengthy gravel road multiple days in a row to get to the real trails. Day 1 - Didn't air...
  6. Can not get delivery of my Bronco ***** RESOLVED******

Sure because nobody on this forum has every reported being screwed by their local dealer. 🤣

  8. $475 Hooke Road Discovery Roof Rack -- Review

Based on others who have not had as good an experience, your mileage may vary, but I had zero problems assembling and attaching mine. It seems to be solid and well made with noise being the only problem. My usage of the rack so far has been minimal, but I have several off-road trips with an RTT...
  9. $475 Hooke Road Discovery Roof Rack -- Review

I was definitely the weather seal on the front fairly. I added the stripping on the cross bars first, which seemed to make a minor difference, but it was still very load. When I added the seal on the front fairing, it made a HUGE difference.
  10. $475 Hooke Road Discovery Roof Rack -- Review

    I only needed 3-1/2 feet.
  11. $475 Hooke Road Discovery Roof Rack -- Review

My front weather stripping looks much better. Looks like we bought the same product, and I don't see that my install is any different.
  12. $475 Hooke Road Discovery Roof Rack -- Review

The links are in the image, but here is a cut and paste of my Amazon review: The biggest issue with this rack is that out of the box, it is very noisy. However, as suggested by another reviewer, I installed this on the bottom of the fairing...
  13. $475 Hooke Road Discovery Roof Rack -- Review

The addition of rubber weather stripping made a HUGE difference.

  15. Dealership service denied

This is great advice. Decide what you want, and then figure out how to get that even if it is not how you think the process should work.

  17. How are you guys getting your BIG dogs into your rooftop tents?

I have a 7-1/2 foot ladder. I open it out all the way and set the end on a cooler like the pictures on the Desert Armor site. So far, I've only set it up once and tested it with my dog for about 15 minutes. He is still not confident going up, but going down is not a problem. Once we start using...
  18. Skyrider vs Slantback trektop

As I recall, it took a few hours to do the first install of the Sunrider. When I took it off, I believe it was under 30 min. It comes off in one piece except for the bolts. I agree with @Sands bronco that it is noisy, but it is very convenient. Easy to put up or down at a stoplight. If I stop at...
