  1. Bronco Raptor Accident w/ Concrete Truck -- Aftermath. Thankful to be alive!

Wow glad you are OK. I was once run off the road by a trash truck who merged into my lane while I was in his blind spot (pre-Bronco). It's scary stuff when you're in that situation. Thankfully I was able to gun it and pull into the shoulder but he still nailed my rear quarter panel.
  2. Exploring the barrier islands of Long Island, NY

Nice. Ive taken ours to Assateague here in MD and it handles really well in the sand.
  3. I've moved on - For now

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the Bronco. Looks like you made a good choice with the Outback, particularly if you aren't doing extreme off-roading. I have a '22 Bronco OBX and a '21 Outback (not Wilderness). I like them both for different reasons.
  4. Ford Recalls making anyone nervous?

No not really. Even companies who are supposedly reliable (like Toyota) have had their fair share of recalls lately.
  5. Who should I blame for these POS tires on my new Bronco? Goodyear Ford or both?

I believe the MT on these particular tires stands for maximum traction not mud tire.
  6. Towed 5 times in 3000 miles! I've had it.

Sorry for your misfortune. I agree with others it may be time to look into lemon laws in your state if Ford can't figure this out for you.
  7. Summers not over yet for this Bronco Wildtrak: Assateague National Seashore Trip

Very cool. I was at Assateague last weekend with our Bronco. FYI it's my understanding that the fence is there to keep the horses from crossing over due to differences in how VA and MD manage them.
  8. This Bronco needs to be taken from the owner

What the hell is that on the back
  9. *UPDATE - RESOLVED* Anyone else have starter issues? (Multiple failures to start)

What exactly am I looking at here, if you wouldn't mind explaining.
  10. Ford Performance Calibration Tune for 2.7L Bronco's AVAILABLE NOW! - Lethal Performance

I would not describe my Bronco as "slow". Not sure what's going on with yours? Or maybe our definitions aren't the same. I have the 2.3 engine. It'll throw me back into the seat if I floor it, and that's not even in sport mode. I do keep it in 4A.
  11. Driving on wet paved roads?

Since it sounds like 4A isn't an option for you (I leave mine in 4A all the time), highway tires should improve traction on wet roads compared to the stock tires. I switched to Continental Terraincontact H/T and have been quite happy with them.
  12. How is freeway driving at or over 75MPH

We took a trip to NC over the summer, cruising at 70-75mph the Bronco feels good, planted. Didn't have the top down at those speeds since I do value what little hearing I have left 😀. I may be in the minority but after switching from the Bridgestone A/T to a Continental H/T there is a noticeable...
  13. Maryland - Chime in!

I may have passed by you today over by Tuckahoe - we have a white Outerbanks. I was driving my Outback today though as my wife had the Bronco.
  14. Bronco camp out on Canaan Loop in Davis, WV!

Such a cool area. We went there a few winters ago to go tubing and Blackwater Falls was frozen solid! Talk about cold.
  15. [Update: Ford actually helped and I got it back] Dealer sold my Bronco before it’s built.

Not sure if it's your best option but in the past folks have reached out to Mike Levine from Ford on twitter with favorable results.
  16. So my Wife says.......

Looks like he's about to squeal like a pig
  17. Jeep owners are Dicks

I did have a random stranger give my the finger while we were driving our Bronco on vacation. Not a Jeep, I think it was a Nissan Rogue 🤣 . Maybe a reservation holder who bailed and is upset at Ford? Who knows.
  18. Someone had a very bad day (Bronco rollover)

Hey at least it looks like the windshield stayed intact ;) . Glad to hear the driver walked away.
  19. Sayonara! Sold my Bronco and bought a Crosstrek.

Tough decision but I get it. I've toyed with selling my Outback but ultimately decided to keep it as my car for long commute days (1 hour each way) and use the Bronco for my shorter commute days which are mainly country roads, fun family trips and weekends. They both serve a purpose.
  20. You are simply not going to believe this.....unbelievable!!!!

Why wouldn't they just put it where the rear license plate goes on the bumper? That's where Chapman put mine.
