  1. The Mid-March Update from Granger Ford

I have two reservations that were converted to orders a long time ago and they are not on the list. Does that mean my order are gone?
  2. 2021+ Bronco Workshop Manual (6th Gen) now live

I've had good success with CD ROMS. I just print the pages that I what to have as a do a job. Then I can write on them get them all greasy etc and it doesn't matter because I have a clean original. My experience is with PDFs though. Requiring windows seems pretty lame. I hope they still support...
  3. Jumping Ship? - What's Your Plan B Vehicle Purchase?

I just got a flag from Ford. I guess they want me to fly it from my new Jeep while I'm waiting until 2025 for a Bronco :)
  4. Dealer wants 15k over sticker now that my bronco arrived

They've shown their true colors in terms of how they want to treat customers. Only you can decided how you want to react. I would walk and and take my custom truck business elsewhere if that were an option. Others may feel that what they are doing is no problem and they are pricing vehicles...
  5. Ford planning to rebrand the company with a new name

I think WTF would work well :-)
  6. My Dealer is lying to get me to order in person (Why!?)

I wish I was that optimistic. I think it's much easier to apply pressure tactics and force someone into a decision they would otherwise not make in person. I would say - get everything in writing, agree on price. If a deposit is required then agree on when it will be refunded (above agreed...
  7. Update-Situation fixed-So my Bronco has come in.... & marked up 10k by DCH FORD OF EATONTOWN

I'm in that area. I sent an email to a bunch of dealers in 2020 asking about making a Bronco reservation and agreeing in price beforehand. Not one was interested in making any kind of commitment. Most didn't even respond. Those that did would not make any type of financial commitment. BTW it's...
  8. Mike Levine saying outright he does NOT care about Granger/Chapman/SAC

This is a good analysis. The problem with it, from my perspective, is that it does not have any incentives to reward "good" dealers. Also the notion of a "sold" unit vs that of a showroom unit needs to be addressed. A sold unit should be be more important than a "floor" unit if you are customer...
  9. Any advice to someone just now trying to put in an order for a 2022 model?

Get an out clause on your deposit. Have option to get your $$ back if: 1) Dealer can't deliver by some timeframe 2) Out the door price changes
  10. Mike Levine saying outright he does NOT care about Granger/Chapman/SAC

Ordered yesterday, have a vin today....
  11. $15K Price Increase From Dealer Over MSRP Scam

Careful. A reservation does not assure price. It assures a small inflation credit on whatever the dealer decides you have to pay. Also, based on what I have seen I would want explicit language saying that any deposit is refundable if the vehicle is not delivered in some timeframe and that the...
  12. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

@Zach@Granger For those of us looking at 2024/2025 who have converted our orders, what do we have to do to stay in the system. I guess Ford has implemented some kind of trap door where if we do nothing we will automatically get canceled?
  13. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

I did. Works fine when ordering a Jeep. I just need to decide on a color today and I'll have an order in for a "limited supply" 392 Rubicon. Easy peasy. I didn't have to ask about allocations, supply chain, current order book, etc. I may have to wait a couple of months for delivery. This is...
  14. Flat tow equipment needed to flat tow the 2021 Bronco?

Interesting - they replace the shackle mounts so you loose tow points unless the hole for the safety cable can be used....
  15. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

I think you have it completely backwards. Grainger isn't taking me from my local dealer. My local dealer is pushing me to Grainger (or other dealers). Ford is trying to strong-arm me back to my local dealer. Rather than strong-arm me they should look to the root cause of the problem. They should...
  16. 🗓 2022 Bronco order bank opens October 13!

Ha, that's going to be a mess. I can see it now. I get a call in 2025 saying both my Broncos are in, when do I want to pick them up and I say, "huh - what Broncos? the ones I reserved in 2020 and ordered in 2021?" Dealer says, "yes, Ford has been automatically re-ordering them for you every year."
  17. Twitter exchange ongoing with @mrlevine

There's been some evidence that the answer to this is no. At least one example was recently posted where Ford was involved and it seems, from the info provided, that Ford basically told the customer to pound sand. The dealer can do whatever they want.... I really want to believe that we just...
  18. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

Actually it is pretty easy. In the last 12 or so hours I've ruled out my local dealer, who was very responsive in telling me they wanted an ADM that didn't work for me and I have started conversations with two out of state dealers who seem to have reasonable terms. I'm sure I'll have my order...
  19. Twitter exchange ongoing with @mrlevine

Ha, strange opinion here. I specifically chose Grainger over my local dealer. Grainger didn't choose me. My local dealer didn't want my business at MSRP or lower. Why do you feel that Ford should be able to choose what dealer I select? My local dealer is out, too bad too, their parts department...
  20. Jeep 392 and 3.73 rear end

It used to be the case that 37s required 35 spline axle shafts and at least a 9" ring and pinion in the rear and maybe a 8.8 in the front. Have the new OEM axles really come that far?
