I went with Brewster Ford as part of the 6g group purchase. I received the letter regarding pricing, and opted to defer to a 2022 model because my reservation was late enough that I could not get a 2021 even if I had wanted one, and honestly I was not in a huge rush as the current car still runs...
I just made the switch to Brewster. Thanks to @Johnnymo for heading up the Brewster deal, and also to @EvlNvrDys for all the time chasing down these deals for us to find the best options. I appreciate all the effort Gentlemen!
You will be able to change it. Do not create the new reservation, you would
Lose your place in line with the original reservation if you were to cancel the original reservation.
Pg 105 and 106 of the thread get into the details. Brewster has documentation fees of $75. Stephens is $265. Brewster is invoice price plus $75. Stephens is invoice +275 -1000. Stephens is definitely less, and the higher a trim level you go up, the greater the savings. Certainly may make sense...
Me too. Within this thread the cost difference was broken down. The fees are different between WV and NY. The actual difference is eight hundred something. I was going to make the drive when it was over a thousand in actual savings (before xplan was taken out of the equation) but I can’t justify...
Leo Kaytes was offering MSRP, and Brewster is at invoice with the group buy so there is savings with Brewster over Leo Kaytes. Both are offering the extended warranty. Just FYI because I was also looking at them.
Not yet. There is a coordinated group buy with Brewster so I don’t think everyone needs to call them. I am ok just getting my questions answered, but that’s just me. I am sure he would be happy to chat with anyone who wanted to in order to get a comfort level with working with them.
I emailed...
I received an email from The dealership introducing himself earlier in the week. They are still working on the letter and responses to the questions the group had and plan to send the letter out next week. That is the message I received. You are not missing it, it has not gone out yet.
No, no deal there. I made the reservation because it had better reviews than other Schultz dealerships closer to me (Nanuet was actually closer but had many many terrible reviews). I spoke to the person managing their Bronco orders and told him about the granger and West Virginia deal and he...
I am planning to get a Base. 5 percent of 30 inches is 1.5. So it sounds like putting take-offs from the upper model trims (32 or 33 inch) would void the warranty in the case of anyone with the base model.
I would like to put the 32 or 33’s on also, but my calculation indicates it would (I think it is based on width, not height) void the warranty. Are you thinking of using the same rims and buying bigger tires maybe, or using take-offs? If I am reading this correctly, using any other model’s...
Interesting, so it sounds like if we plan on putting take-off 17” tires on the base model instead of the 16”, it would invalidate the warranty (16x.05=.08). That would be a real gotcha. Nice to know that up front. Thanks for catching that. That means the warranty would basically be worthless...
Let’s add that to the list of questions for Brewster. Would be good to know how much the extended warranty will actually be costing to maintain annually. EvlNvrDys , can you add that to the list of questions for them please?
I am leaning toward Brewster also. At some point we will need a survey or some way to be sure we are going to have at least 20 interested in joining the Brewster deal. Still also hoping for below invoice to be closer to NY. With the savings diminished at Stevens after the xplan debacle, the...
