Nice! Great to see a Base make it up! I haven't attempted the route from the West yet, but I want to give it a shot next time I'm out there. There's also a longer approach from the North that looks interesting.
@Zach@Granger I thought that it was optional for models with MGV & washout interior, but that it's now going to be automatically included as standard equipment on models with cloth interior.
I want to be able to wash the panels off. I'm hoping there will be a headliner delete option. If not, I might have to find a Black Diamond or Badlands owner who forgot to tell their dealer to add the headliner and then swap tops with them.
No, it is the bottom seat cushion of the rear seat, which tumbles forward to a nearly vertical position (up against the back of the front seat) allowing the seat back to be folded flat (or more accurately horizontal), as seen in this photo.
Why do you say this. Do you have some info I'm missing, or something I got wrong? Note that the gap I show is between the seatbacks, not the seat bottom cushions. I didn't dimension it, but it's about 1/2".
Sorry, I did not measure the footwells in front of the rear seat. I was mainly focused on the maximum length and width available with the seatbacks folded.
These dimensions were hand measured by me in Johnson Valley during KOH. The vehicle measured was the black pre-production Badlands trail rig concept.
I am confident in most of the measurements at about +/- 1/4 accuracy. I measured accurately to the seat supports, but the angle of the seat back...
Just lucky and in the right place at the right time. Have to give credit to David as well, he kept the communication channels open and invited others to the party. Up until the night before I wasn't sure if anyone else would go besides me and David.
They are great guys, and I wish I'd been...
No, not Jake from State Farm, but people who meet him love him just as much. Really a great guy! He'll be featured on the next episode of the Bronco Talk podcast.
[Disclaimer: I am not the Blake.Bronco that does some of their interviewing, but I did make a brief appearance in episode 1 from...
Here's link to the full write-up of the Return to Bronco Knoll, written by David, a Bronco Nation staff member who did a great job coordinating the trip and bringing all these people together. I've written a brief summary below. We also had with us Cooper Pierce (Utah.Bronco on Instagram) who...
The bull bar, or "cactus smasher" as Stroppe liked to call it, does not obstruct the camera. I rode in an FE with the cactus smasher and no winch, and there camera had a clear view. I heard from Esteban at Super Cel West in October that Warn does have or will have a solenoid relocation kit, so...
Forgive me if you've already hashed and rehashed this, but shouldn't the 302 ci engines be parenthetically noted as 5.0 L, not 4.9 L? I know that technically 302 ci comes out to 4.94889 Liters (approximately), but it has always been known as the 5.0 L engine to distinguish it from the 4.9 L...
