My understanding is that Ford / Wayne Assy uses a third party for logistics (moving vehicles around, arranging transport, etc) so if yours has been released to the carrier you MIGHT be in luckā¦.
Was this fairly recently that you ordered it or before the announcement? As others have stated, the part no longer shows up on Ford Accessories as being compatible for Bronco. My dealer was able to give me a part number for my ā23, (appears to be an entirely different nomenclature than the part...
For whatever protection that the MM Act may provide during the original manufacturerās warranty period, itās my understanding that it doesnāt apply during the extended warranty period, if one is purchased. Do your own research, but just something to consider.
$29k is $2k more than I paid for my new ā23 base 2-door 2.3 auto with aux switches last month. Yeah it was an Oct 2020 Granger reservation, but stillā¦.
Pretty sure they are some % below invoice on Jeep products too. A friend ordered a Grand Cherokee and saved a bunch even after shipping to the Southeast.
I bought my first new car in 1984. I was working as a young engineer, excellent credit, 48 month term, and the interest rate was 13% at the credit unionā¦.
Seems like average transport time is 3 weeks or so, once you get on a railcar. And assuming that you donāt get stuck at the railyard in Omaha. Then 2 weeks prep/waiting on the call from Granger - hopefully the worst is over for them after the big influx of orders. So, my guess is 5-6 weeks...
Exact same blend date as mine, which was actually stuck in production for about a week, amazingly made it to Granger in just over two weeks transit, then sat there almost 3 weeks till I picked it up, and has now been home for 3 weeks today. What a difference for 2 vehicles with the same date of...
I didnāt have any trouble with the in-transit title (or anything else) in TN, although the tax calculation/check was low by about $600 due to county by county variations in fees, etc, which I had anticipated. Echo thanks to @Zach@Granger, Samantha, Eric, everyone behind the scenes working just as...
BTW, the A-plan (not X-plan) price on my lowly base was only $1261 less than invoice. So without even taking into account model year transition or order modification, @ $2000 under invoice, I got a better deal than Ford employees right out of the gate. Amazing.
Oct 2020 price ($2000 under invoice) is better than X-plan. You canāt use both, so to get the better deal ($2000 under invoice) X-plan is irrelevant.
