I put felt tape on the underside of the metal that sits on the roll bar. Seemed to help there but honestly now I'm chasing other creaks and squeaks. Never ending.
I was one of the $1,000 under invoice orders. I went in there to pick it up, but wasn't sure what I was walking into due to lack of communication and specific confirming of the deal in writing.
Went in with all docs and communications printed out and they honored the deal with price protection...
Thanks the heads up! Maybe I'll try mount the winch to the tray and drop it on the mount as one piece.
I have the RC light bar coming, is it possible to install the light after the fact when everything's mounted? Looked like there might be some space under to slide up in. I want to get this...
For those that have installed this, did you install as the directions show and put it all together then mount to bumper? Or would I be able to install the main part of the mount to the bumper first, then the tray and winch last?
Installing by myself so that would be easier if possible.
After chasing my squeek, creak, rattle noise in the roll bar plastic trim I discovered it was the clamshell where it bolts to the roll bar rubbing metal to metal
Will probably lay some stick on felt down when I put the top back on
I'm a novice to adding auxiliary lighting to a vehicle so I'm hoping for input from more knowledgeable than myself. I want to replace the fog lights in my capable bumper and add ditch lights.
Ford Performance has a Rigid kit for both, as does Diode Dynamics. Anybody can tell me what's better...
