Just to clarify - when I say cold start I mean the engine is cold - not the air temperature is cold. An engine heater wouldn't do anything to address the smoking issue.
Park the car with the decal in the sun for a few hours.
I then clean around the decals to remove any dirt, and carefully lift the corner with a plastic putty knife. Must be plastic...
Carefully peel the sticker off. Clean and wax.

First thing I do when I get home with a new vehicle is remove all the stickers/labels/decals/paperwork/hang tags/licence plate holders/origami shaped bits of cardboard hanging off the glove box, rear mirror etc etc etc that they LOOOOVE to put on new vehicles.
I was very concerned about Ford using the F150 2.7 in the new Bronco, but you say the 2018+ engine is a good one, which leads me to believe Ford have addressed the well known cold start smoking problems they had.
I have a 2.7 2017 F150 (Nov 2016 build) with less then 50k and its been smoking...
Lets blue sky this... (lets hear your wacky n wild ideas - nothings to zany for this crazzzeee meeting..)
Run this up the flag pole...(tentatively put this out there to see what the reaction is)
Circle back (re-visit this later)
Provide some color (more details needed
Hard stop (this meeting...
It's bad enough doing the 'Dealer Dance' to get a popular vehicle, but if Ford now wants me jumping through hoops aswell..... plenty of old LR 90/110 kicking about...
And so the games begin...its going to get worse as the build/delivery dates get closer and dealers realize they can make a few extra $$ once the customer has committed and the car is on its way.
Need to adopt Teslas sales model and eliminate the dealers.
Not a clue - its a 91 octane tune (though I can change it to 93)
I'm at sea level but have taken it up into the White Mountains in NH (app. 2000 feet) and all was OK. Pretty standard tune really, and it doesn't void Fords warranty. These 2.3 are good up to 500bhp.
Nope - no dyno. Ford said the car had 350bhp stock and then Cobb said their tune was good for another 50. Took everyones word for it....
May get it dyno'd one day....
My 2.3 came standard with 350whp and 350 wtq. $600 for a 91 octane tune (thats primary purpose was to remove the rev hang...) and a K&N filter, added an additional 50whp and 50wtq. Thing goes like greased weasel shit...
+1 - would love to see an expanded color range. I'm in for yellow and would be willing to pay for it - not $10k but defo up to around $1k.
There re too many gray/black/white/silver cars about....
