  1. Virtual event: Bronco, a history of Ford’s 4X4 with Todd Zuercher

will do. I hope to be able to do a museum drive or two this summer if my Badlands arrives in time. And itā€™s not just my museum, itā€™s all of ours! Joining is simple, inexpensive and supports the nations oldest car collection. And no worries about hijacking the thread - it all points back to the...
  2. Virtual event: Bronco, a history of Ford’s 4X4 with Todd Zuercher

@ZackDanger thatā€™s your wagon? Thatā€™s awesome, my ā€˜98 e36 M3 was there as well. Iā€™m an active member of Larz and plan the museumā€™s driving events. We have some great ones planned for this year. Mind if I DM you the dates when we announce them? Weā€™re always looking for new members. And I can tell...
  3. Virtual event: Bronco, a history of Ford’s 4X4 with Todd Zuercher

I saw this event happening virtually via the Larz Anderson Auto Museum in Brookline Massachusetts and wanted to pass it along. Hereā€™s a description from the Museum and a link to register . You can even get a Bronco book signed by the author! Iā€™m in, who else? Thursday, March 25, 2021 at 7pm...
  4. cheaper to upgrade tires?

Tires last an awful long time. If you want to swap 'em out and you can afford it, do it from day 1. The 32s will have some value. Life is short and to paraphrase @broadicustomworks when he says, be excellent to one another -- be excellent to yourself, too.
  5. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

Swapped my reservation over. Easy peasy. Minutes later got it all wrapped up with Tom. I'm getting my Bronco!
  6. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

OK, thank you! I have not converted my existing reservation yet. I will create a new reservation, then call Ford. Appreciate you!
  7. Chapman Of Horsham with @dealerinsider

question for you smart guys: so to switch to Chapman, the process is to create a NEW reservation with Chapman using the Ford website, then call Ford to swap over your time stamp? is this the most efficient way?
  8. Cactus grey /Cyber orange

    Yes they are
  9. Names that don't make any sense.

And when I hear Warthog the first thing I think of is this scene. Who remembers it?
  10. Rotors look small

Someone mentioned Pikes Peak but I have a funny story from a vacation in the Great Smokies. There we are trundling along in our family Subaru go slowly down the many steep inclines, in a low gear. A Durango with New Jersey plates, sorry people from New Jersey, is behind us for all of a half mile...
  11. Rotors look small

After market. Also Ann Marie, my wifeā€™s friend but I donā€™t think anyone here knows her.
  12. How do you guys think MGV will hold up over Time VS Leather ? ? ? ?

It might be protein leather, which is what we used to call pleather. When it ages, it ages poorly. Usually flakes off in little bits.
  13. Bronco Art & Memorabilia

That's something to think about, but I've personally found good stuff on Etsy. Just make sure to read enough reviews to get a comfort level. The stuff we're gearing up with will be some apparel and personal items. If there's any of that kind of stuff you (or anyone else) is looking for, let me...
  14. Warning 4 door trims and Cupholders

Wait a second, we got 3 pages of posts on this topic?
  15. Bronco Art & Memorabilia

Hi @BroncoBilly17 we're actually hot on this at the moment -- you guys here will be the first to know what we have (soon!). What kind of stuff is everyone looking for?
  16. Badlands Manual - Standard, Mid, or High Package?

All these stats, the in-fighting, the inferences about people's tire maintenance, but in all that, we may have missed the fact that there's another future Bronco owner who also has an Alfa (a 4C at that). You can go back to the bickering now...
  17. Inspected Cactus Gray

Same experience with my daughter in the car looking at a Sport. We both noticed it through the windshield, then from the side (window down). That color is a pane in the glass.
  18. Anyone interested in getting together for a New England purchase at a single dealer?

Stephan, to be honest, this is an interesting option. hmmm. thanks for posting.
  19. Has anybody heard if the bull bar option has been altered to not cover the Bronco front lettering?

Personally I like that it covers part of the Bronco lettering. To me it shows confidence, like I don't you don't need to broadcast the name of the vehicle. It's like debadging your vehicle. Or not wearing clothes with big blatant logos. If you wear Levis with a belt, check out how the tag sits...
  20. If Ford offers the fastback soft top in place of the 2DR MIC, will you take it or wait?

That's actually a really interesting idea. It reminds me of the story of Henry Ford once had windshields for Model As made in England with the stipulation that they were packed in crates made of English Oak. Once they arrived stateside, crates were disassembled, and the oak was used for the...
