Obviously never configured a Rubicon... 51K for a Bronco with Leather without the Sasquatch. A compatible optioned rubicon can be had for 45K. I have no love for a 56K Bronco with a plastic top.
Did you take a look at the MSRP on that Ranger? Look at a fully loaded Ranger and it starts becoming real clear how over priced the Bronco is. 60K and we get the base engine from an F-150 and we can’t even option a painted roof.
I told my dealer to go to hell when they said they weren’t honoring X plan. It took one 30 second email to find a dealer that would... A month later came the corporate greed cancelling X Plan so I told Ford to go to hell by cancelling my reservation. No regrets. - 60K for a bronco with a faded...
This is
about the only reasonable build I see. Every other build was designed to double the MSRP to add bowling shoe inspired interior and sound deadening. It was sure nice of Ford to throw in the First Edition top on the base for free.
Ford made a fun 30K vehicle and desperately struggled at how to double the MSRP. They all sat around the bowling alley and thought of ways to make a headliner cost 20K while designing their seats to match their bowling shoes. In the end, they succeeded with both! So now we wait to see who the...
Have they ever seen black plastic after exposed to the sun for 2-3 years? Base model Toyota’s, base model Honda’s, base model Fords.. what do they all have in common? Hint (base model, cheap, inexpensive, bought because they were significantly cheaper than upgrade). Nothing in the Build and...
Still broken - 60K loaded and you are stuck with a black molded plastic top... LOL. Let’s face it - Jeep has gotten away selling Wranglers at obscure prices because Jeep owners are loyal. Ford thinks they can compete by offering a subpar product. (Even subpar to Jeep) at obscure prices. - and...
Ford jumped the gun on cancelling X-Plan eligibility. They thought they had a winner... LOL - 60K for a molded black (grey in 18 months) top... even the Luxury interior is nothing to be proud of at this price point. - the launch is nothing like what we’ve been seeing. At 40K the vehicle...
Does anyone actually care about these “concepts” anymore? Ford shows some pretty vehicles, then launches a vehicle that costs 60K with a black plastic top... 2 years from now we will all be watching YouTube videos on how to take a butane torch to melt the plastic and bring back the black.
Do yourself a favor - Log into the ford site and cancel your reservation. I did it after the X-Plan B.S. I have no remorse for the cancellation. 55/60K for a Bronco with a black plastic top... Ford is launching a 35K vehicle at 55K and are crossing their fingers that we are dumb enough to...
1. I added a few small luxuries and BAM... 60K!
2. No X-Plan + Dealer markup
3. Missing the little banner that says $11,000 off + 0% interest for 14 years
4. At this price, it’s Starting to look, I don’t know... Plain, Dated, Boring?
5. Makes me want to be fiscally responsible and buy a Camry...
