yeah that little bump in is a weak point, but it shouldn’t have snapped the weld. If you go out to their webpage, it looks like they’ve changed the design a bit too.

I have this kit, but the QC on the skid plate may be a tad eh. Hit a stump and it broke at the weld. Curious if RC sells the skid plate separately.

What should we do if the white is starting to chip off on the lettering?

I’m not about to unpack 192 pages of this thread. Is there a cliff note version of this? My manual makes noise but goes away after warms up, and have noticed clunkiness through the gears more, but I read that could be just switch for some better fluid?

I got hail damage during a storm last spring. Luckily a PDR expert pulled them all out with no issues, and I have a soft top so no damage there! That sucks though, those are some big dents but I bet PDR could take them out.

I know iOS updated its ability to be on different resolution screens in CarPlay. Is this something Ford needs to update for still too?

Have you thought about just doing a basic roof rack, no quick release points for the soft top using this same concept? I think just some tube steel could get this accomplished if you wanted with a rhino lined coating. Then you can choose to add a roof basket or a rooftop tent to the cross...

Yeah I’ve completely disconnected mine. The turn signals and rear light illumination was completely out.

Has anyone with the original LED Curt’s kit have LED lights (Badlands) and notice that the rear lights won’t turn on at night or show left or right turn signals? It’s also clicking on the dashboard very quickly when the turn signal isn’t working.
