I appreciate all the advice, I definitely won’t be attempting the Miller or the rubicon, but I do want to go a little further off the trail than most people and spend sometime (off grid). I just didn’t want to order a base Sasquatch and then in 2 years look back and wish I had ordered it with...
Yes, I’ve been up and down with the trims with the exception of the wildtrak. Now I’m thinking base with Sasquatch and the 2.7 and automatic but not sure if I should upgrade to the fancy auto transfercase. Also, does anyone know if the traction control is standard on the base if you don’t want...
Hello all, from Center Point here. I have no idea yet! Back and forth. Changed to Granger after initially going local. A picture of my trip vehicle and my sons Jeep.
It’s absolutely indescribable until you experience on your own! It’s been a good many years since I’ve last gone but definitely hope to get back to it. If you ever get a chance go for it!
A little along that line is when learning to dive the instructor made us figure everything out with charts and then when we mastered that we were able to use the dive computer.
Thanks, the time without the B&P gave me a chance to step back and put my goal in perspective. Going Base with the Sasquatch and no frills is going to give me some breathing room for later upgrades.
Yes, I’m a newbie and not shy about it! That is why I wanted to hear from all of you first hand your experiences and thoughts on high tech Options and the beginner. Thanks!
Yes, from what I read it’s great especially for less than ideal weather conditions but for me I’m thinking this will be strictly our fun/traveling vehicle
Thanks, definitely makes sense. I’m getting more and more comfortable with my decision. I enjoy learning from everyone and getting their perspective!
Great, so you wouldn’t be intimidated by the lack of gadgetry and “rock crawl goat mode “ then? Hypothetically, would any of you be comfortable With being the group leader on a higher skill level trail in the Base I mentioned?
Good advice! I’m just taking a hard look at my wants and needs, for me, just dipping my big toe into overlanding (not camping) I’m thinking my best option is starting with the base Sasquatch build it up over the years as well as my skills and then perhaps move up to Badlands.
Thanks! I guess I just needed some reassurance that if I switch to a base that I could ( with aftermarket support) build it and perhaps keep up with the group!
Hi everyone, I have always been fascinated with the people that take their rigs places where few people are brave enough to go. The video of the Broncos traveling the Rubicon was incredible and started me to wonder if any one of you would attempt (I’m thinking capability wise) to traverse a...
