It is.
I invested some time in painting it up inside and out with custom touches.
Inside boasts grey metallic topo and yellow-orange-red faded Cervini logo.
Topside has the negative of the underside with the topo lines in red (with red pearl) against grey section and honeycomb overlaying a...
Heck yeah! I enjoy putting faces with names and making new friends.
I’ll either be in the NC Broncos area (between the IAG display and BN tent, about 3 rows back behind the IAG folks) or at the IAG area getting my new goodies installed so I don’t have to!
Look for me, here’s the rig (hard to...
For anyone who has not had the pleasure of reusing these cargo tiedown bolts, be forewarned.
They are brittle.
IDK if it was the loosening and reapplication or what for me but:
I removed them to install the Tuffy/Ford offered security enclosure, reused them on the "feet" brackets.
4/8 of them...
Here is where customer service and pride in one's work separate sprayers vs. painters.
Yes, the VIN will give you the paint code. And it is the route to ascertain the variance, as even each correct paint code will get you the color, but the variance used is what makes all the difference.
Even...
If this is the current challenge I'm not participating.
The size ratio of my little dog relative to competitive-level fake dongage would just be...wrong.
I'll wait for the next one (challenge, not a larger dog for photogenic purposes).
*I know it's not the challenge.
Ended up ordering the Patagonias in 38-13.50.
Most online reviews put them at or even above the SST Pro. Figured I’d give them a fair shot.
@Discount Tire got me with the rebate post and I bait-n-switched my own self in the end.
Good job, DT.😂
It does not help my decision any that the Cooper SST Pro's are also sporting a $100 rebate until the end of April.
That brings the price of the 37 SST down to be virtually the same as a Milestar Patagonia in a 38.
And now I feel like I am back trying to decide what color Bronco I want to...
It is off on the first pic, before paint.
And yes, the plastic does take the metallics and pearls differently. Usually requires the first few coats to flash off completely and apply a drop coat from a different orientation/air pressure/distance to even some of that saturation out.
Either way...
That's not a bad thing.
Just means having to pay someone else to do some things becomes an option vs. necessity.
I find it to be quite handy.
But it's also a curse, as the "to do" lists can get quite lengthy.
The Ford Performance one is an example of one that offers a drain port, so no need to remove the cover each time.
Cost isn't bad.
Remove and install maybe 30 minutes, including refill with fresh oil.
And here I was wondering if a new thread would ever unseat the "picture challenge" one (which is my most-loved thread in a good long while) as the new "best entertainment and captivating content".
And this one certainly has potential.
My how the turns have tabled.
Some interesting color choices were made. And that's not a bad thing. Love to see the lime or a great orange come back on the new gen as well.
Trailhunter looks to be a pretty decent setup but again, if one were to lift it anyway to fit 35's, could prove to be wasted money on the front end...
