@Hothead Headliners Is your product intended to help with sound reduction, or just for heat management? The Ford factory option is billed as a "hard top sound deadening headliner"
Locker room speech not in order. I'd expect him to be in full talent evaluation mode, and to start determining where change needs to happen first. Also easy (as the new guy) to hit the pause button on a project unless he's totally bought into direction.
It seems like Jim (or whomever is tweeting as Jim) was unaware of the concern. I'm not sure Ford can afford to have a CEO who is hands off (until someone tweets at them) on the details of such a critical launch for Ford.
I've worked for CEOs of a number of large companies. The good ones are...
The most frustrating thing about the way the Bronco build has evolved is that interior wants/needs (cold weather stuff, sound system, safety features, interior design, etc.) are driving capability options that many (including myself) don't really want or need for a truck that won't ever rock...
Bottom line is I'm resigned to aftermarket seating. Given that its a $2100 upgrade for leather, it is a tradeoff I can live with, and I'll probably get it closer to what I wanted. I'm getting a BL, and a neutral body color, the rest of the interior is good to go. I'm satisfied with this, but...
Its interesting that there is not any reference to it being Gray (or any other color) in the B&P, and the CGI pics look blackish. Maybe Ford was listening?
I think we're on the same page. My point is that its frustrating that wanting that option alone means the bottom 3 models and bottom 2 trims are off the table. I feel the same with steering heat.
Life's too short. If you're going to sit in a car for ~90 minutes each day, buy one that you look forward to driving. Bronco should be fine on that commute. It is kind of silly that the want for steering wheel heat or adaptive cruise control is forcing a decision on which model tho...
I think the anxiety of waiting for B&P exists just because of the uncertainty of trim/option decisions based on price and package configurations. Once that is settled and decisions are made, I think the waiting is easier....at least for me. I'm impatient because things feel unsettled.
I wouldn't mind seeing those with reservations at Metro Ford in Madison switch elsewhere. And let them know why. If this is indicative of their antics, I would choose not to conduct business with them. c'mon Wisconsin!
My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Mike Levine at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's coming soon.
