Doing it yourself is the best bet. I have paid shops to do oil changes on my vehicles a total of 4 times in my life.
I had severe back pain and could not do it myself those times.
Out of those 4 times, it was done correctly once.
2 times the filter wasn't tightened properly and leaked...
I have a '22 2 dr sasquatch and had my first emergency braking event on the highway a few days ago. A wreck happened right in front of me while I was doing about 80mph. The amount of dive while braking hard was very surprising. I can definitely see why the rear sway bar was added to the 2022...
My Bronco arrived at the dealership on 8/11. Found that out today. I'm scheduled to seal the deal and take delivery on the 16th. It was scheduled to arrive 13th-18th. Every thing has been on schedule/ ahead of schedule during the build/ship/deliver process. A few days more than 2 years and I'll...
I understand Ford's reasoning. If it doesn't make business sense, it won't happen.
I was hoping they would offer a manual 2.7 but for me personally, I will be fine with the 2.3. If I feel like I need more power, a trip to a good tuner should rectify that.
Switching to Granger. I'm in. Interstate Ford won't even get back to me on anything.
I may want to just fly out there to pick it up though.
When are you gonna lock in on the shipper?
I have a manual Subaru now and will have another manual in the Bronco. Girlfriend drives an auto bmw x3 but prefers to drive manual. I'm sure she'll be driving the Bronco a lot lol.
I drive to work in the snow no matter how bad the conditions. (highway maintenance foreman in CO) When it snows...
What I want: 2dr Base, 4 cyl, manual, Samsquanch, aux switch kit, rubber floors
How I will probably have to order:
2dr Black Diamond, 4 cyl, manual.
This is all assuming the Black Diamond has at least a locking rear diff. Can add lift and bigger tires later.
I can't compromise on the manual.
They shouldn't treat it like it's for the poors. It should be treated as a nod to enthusiasts who prefer manual. I really hope that isn't their actual mentality.
Local Coloradan here. Probably gonna head up to Buena Vista for the event in a couple weeks. Arkansas river will be pretty decent fishing. Check the regs for different areas cause they can vary significantly. You'll find areas of Gold medal waters on there as well.
A little over an hour North...
That and not offering a manual Sasquatch. Seriously. Why no manual Sasquatch? I want, no, need a 2.3 manual squatch! 2.7 manual squatch would be amazing.
