It would be nice to be able to see the product as you change colors or leathers... I just created a shifter boot, but I have no idea what it looks like in real life.
I have both and the F150 seems huge, didn't used to... my F150 is an XLT, so I don't have 360 cameras (just rear), a lot of guessing on parking lot clearances.
However my F150 is so quick, smooth and quiet, even with KO2's. 3.5EB.
Yes, and I think it's the gap between the front and mid removable top, behind the passengers head. That's where it sounds like it's coming from when you're the driver. I haven't spent a ton of time on it because I just thought that that was a removable top thing (my first)... You got to pay...
As other said, I get whistling when there are crosswinds, lots of whistling. Going highway speeds, I get some kind of whistle coming from the passenger side, if you get it fixed, I'd be curious of the fix.
To me, it's just life with a removable hardtop? I've not had one in the past.
Any thoughts of replacement springs for the HOSS 3 Fox 2.5's? I currently have perch collars but would rather have just springs that give me a 2 1/2-in lift all around.
This is standard HOSS 3/4 stuff. People call it HOSS 3 steering rack, but it could be called HOSS 4. Extreme Duty is what it is. Standard on BRaptors/Wildtrak's from 2022.5-2024.
Hope the Bronco driver is ok... it could have been a medical emergency, like low blood sugar? Heart attack? Stroke?
Js5t because they ran a red light doesn't mean they did it intentionally.
😃 you're only talking about 5/32" (.15") difference? You got me. My old eyes can't see much difference looking at them.
I also look at weight, my KO's are 63lbs, the Falken are 82.1 or 89. I (personally) don't need 10ply tires for everyday use, and the Bronco doesn't tow enough for me to...
I went 2.25 all the way around because the weight of the spare tire and the weight of my RTR rear end stuff weighs down the rear end. My Bronco is leveled out in its current state, once I add a front winch, then the rear end might be a little higher.
If your not wanting to see them, I'd go with the cheaper collars. When I bought mine, RPG was about the only way to go with HOSS 3. These are their 2.25's. I went with Fox Orange.
My opinion is they (KO2) don't run small, look at the specs on all other brands and tell me who makes true 37" tires? You need to check the specs on the manufacturers website, not just listen what people say, people lie. 😉. Curious what you find.
This is a common question that's been answered. RPG 2.25 (x4) will affect your ride, I have that setup on 37's. It's not bad, but you will lose the cushy ride.
I'm doing it as a stop gap until I can get a mid-travel or a long travel suspension. It may never happen, but about 4k miles on the...
Yes, there is a big difference (to me). The stock HOSS 3 floats over bumps like a tuned suspension... after the 2.25 RPG perch collars, I could feel the rear shocks kicking a bit. You don't glide over bumps, you now feel the front and rear independently, at least I do.
