  1. First view of hood scoop accessory option on 2021 Bronco (+ door moldings)

Come on guys. Class it up a bit. No need for stick on adhesive plastic crap. From follows function.
  2. Cactus Gray IS Green!

I’ve seen it in person and it’s definitely green. Some people may see it differently because their eyes are “wired” differently. I have two hair colorists in my family and we used to argue about identifying certain colors. For years they accused me of being slightly color blind. We took a...
  3. Let’s solve the GVWR and payload issue once and for all

My JLU Sport is 5300 gvwr and my JLU Rubicon is 5800 gvwr.
  4. POLL: what powertrain are you choosing at order time?

The 2.7 for the extra power going up and down mountain highway roads and auto because I’ve had my fill of driving manuals.
  5. 2” Lift in the Build and Price

That’s at my local local Jeep dealership.
  6. ? 4dr Badlands in Carbonized Gray w/ Soft Top and Steel Front Bumper

Go test drive a Wrangler. A Rubicon has 33s stock. That will give you a taste of what you’re in for. 35s will affect your MPG. No one knows by how much. Noise will be louder. Some Rubicons have mud tires. Test drive one of those if possible.
  7. Seating position feedback?

I have a JL Wrangler and I have also driven the Ranger. The Ranger seating position is closer to the floor. It’s not as low as a Colorado or Tacoma. I’m sensitive to seat height. I hate my legs being stretched out in front of me. When I drove the Ranger it seemed fine to me. Not a deal breaker...
  8. POLL Which Model Will Become Late Delivery?

The model with the least profit will be built last. Base two door manual will have the longest wait.
  9. Alternative to Ford compressor?

I have a VIAIR Works great and there’s room in the storage bag for a tire plug kit. I don’t usually air down for the trails I run, but I always carry my compressor and tire plug kit. It’s good to have for on road travel too...
  10. Ford got me, again

I live in PA and our winters can get cold. I love my heated steering wheel and heated seats. I would not go without it. I work outside. Driving to my next customer with a warm seat and steering wheel is like a mini vacation. So it’s a lux for me.
  11. Anyone else cross shopping the Bronco with the 2021 F-150?

I traded my 2017 Ram Power Wagon for a 2020 Wrangler. I bought a utility trailer for my truck duties. Problem solved. If I was looking to get a truck it would be an F150 hybrid. The generator is a game changer. Hopefully we see a hybrid with generator come available for the Bronco.
  12. Bronco Soft Top how-to video -- folding, removing and window removal

The soft top looks well thought out. As easy to operate as our JK plus a tilt up feature for the rear window. Good job Ford.
  13. 4DR, Soft vs Hard top

If you go soft top from Jeep you do not get wiring for the rear defrost, wiper, or the rear washer tank and plumbing. Has it been confirmed from Ford that you get all the wiring and plumbing for the hard top if you do not get a hard top? And if the soft top opens like the JL you won’t have...
  14. Rain Gutter

    That’s a 2020 Wrangler.

  16. Changing from OBX to Badlands has freed me

I was sure of my Badlands choice since my reservation on day three. Now it’s the color choice I need to nail down. I do some off-roading and trailgating. I want a color that’s less likely to show pinstriping. Cactus gray, Silver, White, Area 51, or what color my rig is now. Gray.
  17. Probably buy used before July 4th

I agree with TwoTone. Go to your local Jeep dealer and drive a Wrangler. Let them know your buying a Bronco but you want to compare. Who knows, you might end up in a Jeep or you’ll leave with a better understanding of what you’re buying.
  18. Probably buy used before July 4th

This past weekend I took Friday off and I had my Rubi off roading and camping. I get her door sills high in mud and sludge. Before I pull it in my driveway I stop at the car wash and get her looking good again. You could eat off her axels right now. Not that I care but, anyone on my street might...
  19. Pics of Bronco w/ top removed -- shows satellite radio antenna, Bronco stamping, soft top

I’ve a rack and roof top tent above my gps antenna on my JL and it gets good reception. XM radio is a little weaker but not enough to drive me to move the antenna.
  20. Connected vs. Connected Built-In Navigation

I got built in Nav in my last two builds because where I’m trail riding I don’t have cell service but I do get gps satellite signal most of the time. I always carry a good old paper map.
