Got a call this morning. My truck arrived at the dealership in North Texas this past Saturday. Like 3 full weeks before the tracker said it should arrive. I only got the birth pic on Friday. That seems real fast.
Now I gotta figure out how to handle everything from here. I'm not keeping it and...
Due to recent and unexpected job changes I don't think it'll be possible for me to take delivery of my Bronco. Delivery is scheduled for mid-May. This kind of really sucks after over 2.5 years of waiting. But life happens when it's least convenient.
If you know anyone looking for an absolutely...
I got the Built email yesterday early morning and the Shipped email 1 hour 12 minutes later. Looks like those saying they are on Hold are all 4-doors. Wonder if there's some minor thing or part needed for them.
Yep. Mine's going the same place as @BlueBronco. Got my Built and Shipped emails overnight last night. Saying like 4-6 weeks to get down this way. And I need all that time to get finances in order and it's cutting things close.
Delivery 5/21-5/27. Gives me time to get a car sold and financing in place. I'm in no super hurry right now. That's well into Texas summer heat and the shutdown of camping for 5+ months.
Blend date of yesterday. Popped up overnight. #550. Tear tag appeared in last few hours, but I've forgotten what that means. Waiting on a delivery date now I guess.
Had both for my D90. Used the solid almost all the time. I never used the full top, like ever. I got caught in enough popup thunderstorms in Texas to learn. I'll still get wet but with a solid top at least I'm not completely soaked through nor is all the stuff I'm carrying. Haven't made the...
This was me. The only changes we ever made were to:
- Color. We had to drop Cyber Orange so went to Velocity Blue. Once Eruption Green was announced we immediately bounced to that.
- Tow Package. I dropped it looong ago when it was a big constraint and never re-added. I'll put one on later for...
934 days later...a 4/10 build date. I left all the sins intact. I knew if I compromised I'd never ever be happy with the result. So it was all-or-nothing. BL, Squatch, 2.7, Lux, tow, and all the rest.
Now my issue lies in that our sale/trade-in got smooshed in the ice-storms last month. The...
I've just used skateboard griptape on sliders in the past and it works well. I only have to put it where I want it. The downside is, if you're wearing shorts, don't even think about sliding out of your truck or you'll turn your calves to hamburger. Got the scars to prove it.
