Read a bunch of articles and watched plenty of videos. I don't see too much to dissuade me. The TFL guys freaked out that some water got on the floor when they opened the doors after a car wash. Color me not all that concerned.

I hate to say it, but since my Xterra started having massive electrical issues and I need to buy something soon, I am probably purchasing a '19 Rubicon with Sky Top tomorrow. New, they're going for $63k pimped out. A 2019 with less than 20K miles (with all the bells and whistles), I'm going to...
Good post. Question though, where are you coming up with your $1,200 figure for the soft top? Since it's standard on the 4-door, and not available on the 2-door, it's not listed with a price anywhere.
Chris
Exactly. It increases articulation, or the amount of range that your front wheels can travel from "flat". So, if you're going over large rocks, it allows your suspension to angle more without making the whole truck tip sideways as much.

You won't be able to do as much "hardcore" rock crawling. Your ride will also just be bumpier on lesser trails. For 90% of the crowd on this website, you won't ever use it.

Anyone that's actually done some research into what the various options are(n't). There is zero reason to get a First Edition. You can get the exact same build on other trims while getting more options. It's like turning all the cash in your bank account into gift cards...
Originally, I thought it wasn't worth it, but now I'm going to go with it. I don't have to lock up my garage opener and phone charger when the top is off. When driving with the top off, the extra speakers will allow you to actually hear the music over the wind. ACC is nice to have since I...
Additionally, there's been some rumbling that Ford was going to make dealers collect at least a $500 deposit. Granger initially didn't want to collect one, but it looks like their hands might be forced a bit.

The V6 weighs more than the I4. I know it's stupid, but is the only thing that makes any sense. Now... The paint protection film not being allowed...

I just realized there isn't a Ford logo anywhere on this document. That alone makes me think that this isn't official documentation (along with a shit ton of typos).
Chris
But the intelligent thing to do would be to just not have the remote start be a part of the mid package for manuals. They CAN offer everything else...
Chris
I'm guessing because it automatically has the hard top and brush guard, so then it's over weight once you get to the 4-door? Other trims don't automatically come with those.

Just read through the whole thread. No one had noted yet one item that had been debated quite a bit in the forums: 4.70 gearing not listed as an option with the Badlands (unless you Squatch it). On the B&P, it's currently a $0 standalone option.
