I understand that, however, an open diff should not be able to leave "two black strips" on dry pavement, correct? (like the LSD in my Mustang does)..... (side note: the Ranger does and that is without the locker engaged)... confusing, right?
It will spin both tires when I experience traction loss (behaves like the Dana in my Mustang GT), however, if I have one wheel on ice/snow and Traction control is fully disabled, it behaves more like an "open diff"
I thought this information was well known on here by now (I know its known, since there is some good info in this thread now), but, the rear locker used in my 2020 Ranger FX4 is a new technology Dana AdvanTEK M220 (Dana 44). It is a mechanical locking rear end with electronic control. This will...
We actually just purchased a 2020 Ranger Lariat FX4 (traded I'm my wife's 18 Explorer Sport) at our dealer in Ottawa (who we have our Bronco reservation with and we're number 2 on their list according to them). I spoke to them this week concerning the order banks and when they thought they would...
Yeah, don't read too much into that. My dealer here in Ottawa confirmed with us that our reservation is number 2 with them (out of 8 reservations, but we have 12 dealers in the Ottawa area alone). The dealer expects to see their first Bronco in May (his words, not mine), so, he said I would see...
What chassis is that in the photoshop image? Definitely not the Bronco with it's front IFS. That is solid front axel. Most likely a Jeep? Still, very cool rigging on the body though.
But notice the rear license plate.... its a Michigan Manufacture plate (not the typical Ontario manufacturer plate we typically see up here on Canadian models), meaning, its most likely a loaner for dealer education use. But it is still nice to see up here for sure.
Absolutely! As I mentioned up above, we have several Ford vehicles and purchased them at an Ottawa dealer but have used more than a few dealers here for service. Also, as member of the Ottawa Mustang Club, Campbell Ford USED to be a club sponsor, but, the club and the dealer have parted ways for...
Not true, I'm also in Ottawa and have dealt with this dealer (I'm a member of the Ottawa Mustang Club as well, and we don't associate with Campbell Ford anymore), and wouldn't go near them. (there is LOTS of great dealers in the NCR to choose from). I was actually just into my dealer yesterday...
And we know that doesn't happen (unfortunately).... they try to stick to the order, but, it will be based on commodity availability, etc. (popular models and options with high demand, etc, etc.) may mean lower models or less popular options get built first. Look at the GT 500 builds last year...
By your logic, I'm 330,130 in line (we were told there is only 190,000 total reservations), but I reserved in July, so, that doesn't make sense. My local dealer said that I'm second in line (and they have over 30 reservation holders alone). I'm in Canada if that makes a difference. I wouldn't...
Well, we live in the "great white North" up here in Ontario, and I have several vehicles with OEM LED headlights (including our 2017 Explorer), and we have NEVER had a "snow or ice build up" issue through several very bad winter seasons. I can't speak to the Jeep crowd (and I'm sure, many of...
We reserved an Outbanks trim, but, I don't like the 18" tires, so, by the time I add the 2.7EB and Sasquatch pkg, I'm over the price of a Wildtrack, so guess what, I think we're going to just order the Wildtrack. It comes with everything I would want (and the hardtop as well), for less money in...
