That is not a defect in the leather. As others have stated, it goes across 2 different pieces of leather. So this is obviously damage caused by someone. Since it is caused by someone, is this considered normal ware and tear? And that could be why warranty claim was denied.
I don't get what's wrong with the affidavit. It sounds like the dealership is trying to protect that the bronco goes to a bronco enthusiast instead of some douche that will flip it for $5k, 10k or more.

If there are 3 open circuits that start at the glove box, why does Ford not run at least 3 (4 would of been better) from the engine bay to the glove box. To me this seems half-assed or just being cheap. If they are going to prewire, why not prewire enough for these open circuits? I get they...

My wife's 2013 Escape even has rear "face" ac vents in the center console. The center storage is deep too. So I don't see how it can be hard to engineer for the bronco. I don't need a super deep center console.
