    You should be able to order thru Granger and have it delivered to a dealer near you. I did that with my Suburban. Ordered it from a dealer in Texas but it was shipped to my local NJ dealer. I just had to pay $200 to my NJ dealer for prepping it here.

    I also took a test drive in the Ranger with the 2.3. No way will I get this engine. The 2.7 is just slightly less powerful then the 3.5 Ecoboost i have in my 2015 F150 Platinum. I will wait one year and hopefully Ford will come to their senses and offer the 2.7 in manual.

    I definitely would go with the 2.7 manual.

    Near the end of 1986, I special ordered a 1987 Bronco XLT in blue with the 6cyl and 4 speed over drive stick. I will wait to order mine for one year and see if they will offer the 2.7 in stick. I think Ford may do this since there is extremely high interest in it.
