  1. Resale value worth the sale?

Even in CA, the tax will be about 4.5k on a $50k Bronco. Do you think itā€™s possible that someone would pay $55k to hop the line?
  2. What would be Plan B larger vehicle for a family hauler?

I would definitely go for the 4Runner.
  3. Base vs. Big Bend

    Oh I thought maybe not.
  4. Likely no pricing until late October and a good portion of the dealerships aren't apparent Granger Ford quality....Just a Hunch...

Of course be cool, but did you know the salesmen get a $100 ā€œminiā€ regardless of whether the dealership makes any money and sometimes moving the unit is worth it for monthly numbers.

Youā€™re saying the quiet part out loud. Ford knows exactly what theyā€™re doing. And the delayed B&P tool is all about pressure from big dealerships not wanting it released yet.

Dealers have more ways to screw your over than you realize. The only way to fully protect yourself is, get the X-Plan, get the B&P, print it out, get a managerā€™s signature on the price and a commitment to whatever fees you agree on (before 10/31), when itā€™s time trade/sell your old car at...

Are you aware that this was initially billed as the 2020 Bronco?
  8. Ford's Marketing...

You think making the ā€œ2020 Broncoā€ into the ā€œ2022 Broncoā€ would quell the comments about delay after delay? Weird.
  9. Ford's Marketing...

The iconic heritage, engineers, and design team have kept the buzz going for decades. You really donā€™t even need a ā€œmarketing managerā€ to make this a success.
  10. Ford's Marketing...

Did they say ā€œby Septemberā€ before or after Covid?
  11. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU'RE BORED OFF YOUR ASS

    I like following independent journalists.
  12. Why go 4-door unless you have to?

Itā€™s just me in my car 95% of the time. On the 405 in traffic. Iā€™m not buying the Bronco for my friendsā€™ convenience during that other 5% of the time. But solid points on sleeping, ride, and carrying around large items. Although those are probably within the 5% use mentioned above.
  13. Why go 4-door unless you have to?

This reminds me of those tv shows where a couple is buying a beach house and theyā€™re always like, ā€˜Well, you know the modest two-bedroom with a killer view of the ocean is rad but weā€™re going with the house several miles inland because we definitely need like 4 bedrooms for our guests that one...
  14. Likely no pricing until late October and a good portion of the dealerships aren't apparent Granger Ford quality....Just a Hunch...

If I can build what I want, print it out, take it to the dealer to sign before 10/31, that makes a world of difference for me in December. By delaying the B&P tool, Fordā€™s doing the dealers a favor by ultimately having less time for more people to do exactly that. Meaning more people end paying...
  15. Bronco Dealers: No-ADM, X-Plans & Special Discounts Master List

I received an email from South Bay Ford just now, and can confirm that they will accept X-Plan on Bronco reservations.
