This is the correct answer, assuming the car is stuck that you're pulling out.
I always carry enough stuff to pull someone out if I have to, but would like to never actually use it for that. Same with the fire extinguisher, hope to never actually use it.
This is what I had planned to use to carry bikes with my Bronco, but Ford would not let me order a hitch when I ordered mine, and I don't currently have a dirt bike light enough for one of those anyway.
The ones that I've looked at seem to stick out far enough to miss the spare tire even...
While we're on the subject of National Parks...
Which of them have decent 4x4 trails?
My list, based on what I've been to:
Canyonlands - The White Rim Trail and Elephant Hill, plus others.
Arches - The trail to Tower Arch is good.
Great Sand Dunes - Apparently others have been on good trails...
Where to you get the "extra thousand" from? You never mentioned where you were pricing your tires. There have been at least three posts showing places to buy a full set that aren't even close to another $1000.
Please post where you're getting your numbers from.
I have been happy overall with the stock Goodyear tires, but I'll be getting something else when I wear these out (in about ten years at the rate I'm going).
I just did some tire pricing at Tire Rack and got two different prices for the Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT, $281.25 and $400.79. I...
That's the trade-off you have to choose. I'm okay having to go out to the Bronco to start it if it also means that I'm completely disconnected from Ford or anybody else out in cyberspace.
It absolutely disables it from FordPass. I was able to do a remote start using FordPass before I shut everything off. Now when I open FordPass on my phone it says:
And I can't do anything with the app.
Same here. They came to my house and did it in my driveway and let me ask a bunch of questions while they were doing it. They would have had to be rather careless to scratch it. I was totally happy with how mine turned out.
I don't understand why all of you have to make this so complicated.
Go to the "Settings" menu in the middle screen, select "Connectivity", then turn everything to the off position. That's how I have mine set up, and it wasn't hard to figure out.
My Fidelity account managed over 11% in 2023. But I have a money manager making the decisions, I don't have that skill.
And I paid cash for my Bronco. I don't like owing anybody anything. It gives me peace of mind.
Gratuitous photo of mine out in Middle-of-Nowhere Idaho:
I would like to find a way to change it to a handle that you pull to apply the brake, like every other car that I have owned. E-brake toggle switches are one of the dumber ideas that the car manufacturers have recently come up with.
It's more than 53 minutes!
Surely with some decent editing the important stuff could have been conveyed in five minutes. I'm not watching a video that long.
I know from watching the various off road rescue YouTube channels what the dangers can be. I think I have a pretty good idea how to...
