  1. 2023 Bronco Badlands 2 door Sasquatch 2.7 auto pulling another vehicle out

This is the correct answer, assuming the car is stuck that you're pulling out. I always carry enough stuff to pull someone out if I have to, but would like to never actually use it for that. Same with the fire extinguisher, hope to never actually use it.
  2. Dirt bike carrier

This is what I had planned to use to carry bikes with my Bronco, but Ford would not let me order a hitch when I ordered mine, and I don't currently have a dirt bike light enough for one of those anyway. The ones that I've looked at seem to stick out far enough to miss the spare tire even...
  3. National Park Pics... Show Yours!

Marin Headlands is part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. Not a national park by any stretch. Still a beautiful place though.
  4. National Park Pics... Show Yours!

I love seeing signs like that. Thanks for pointing this one out.
  5. National Park Pics... Show Yours!

While we're on the subject of National Parks... Which of them have decent 4x4 trails? My list, based on what I've been to: Canyonlands - The White Rim Trail and Elephant Hill, plus others. Arches - The trail to Tower Arch is good. Great Sand Dunes - Apparently others have been on good trails...
  6. Are the stock squatch tires really that bad?

Where to you get the "extra thousand" from? You never mentioned where you were pricing your tires. There have been at least three posts showing places to buy a full set that aren't even close to another $1000. Please post where you're getting your numbers from.
  7. Spare Tire Covers -- post yours

The only thing my spare tire gets covered with is dust. ;)

Canyonlands, on the White Rim Trail:
  9. Are the stock squatch tires really that bad?

I have been happy overall with the stock Goodyear tires, but I'll be getting something else when I wear these out (in about ten years at the rate I'm going). I just did some tire pricing at Tire Rack and got two different prices for the Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT, $281.25 and $400.79. I...
  10. How do we turn off data sharing?

That's the trade-off you have to choose. I'm okay having to go out to the Bronco to start it if it also means that I'm completely disconnected from Ford or anybody else out in cyberspace.
  11. Use keypad to lock keys in Bronco.

But the batteries in the keyless entry keypad are not, and that's what this thread was originally about.
  12. How do we turn off data sharing?

It absolutely disables it from FordPass. I was able to do a remote start using FordPass before I shut everything off. Now when I open FordPass on my phone it says: And I can't do anything with the app.
  13. 2 door Heritage gunner hatch. What's this??

My 2021 2-door does not have anything like those pieces anywhere on the roof.
  14. Glass shop scratched paint around windshield, is this normal?

Same here. They came to my house and did it in my driveway and let me ask a bunch of questions while they were doing it. They would have had to be rather careless to scratch it. I was totally happy with how mine turned out.
  15. Time to receive Bronco after start of production notification?

When I got mine two years ago, it was about five weeks after I was notified that it had been built. Might be a little faster now.
  16. Side panel rust

I know what "side panels" are on my motorcycles, but I can't figure out what you're refering to on the Bronco. Yeah, I also want to see pictures.
  17. How do we turn off data sharing?

I don't understand why all of you have to make this so complicated. Go to the "Settings" menu in the middle screen, select "Connectivity", then turn everything to the off position. That's how I have mine set up, and it wasn't hard to figure out.
  18. Anyone financing? What rates are you getting?

My Fidelity account managed over 11% in 2023. But I have a money manager making the decisions, I don't have that skill. And I paid cash for my Bronco. I don't like owing anybody anything. It gives me peace of mind. Gratuitous photo of mine out in Middle-of-Nowhere Idaho:
  19. E Brake switch replacement

I would like to find a way to change it to a handle that you pull to apply the brake, like every other car that I have owned. E-brake toggle switches are one of the dumber ideas that the car manufacturers have recently come up with.
  20. My soft shackle failure experience 🤕 -- The Off-Road Recovery That Almost Killed Me

It's more than 53 minutes! Surely with some decent editing the important stuff could have been conveyed in five minutes. I'm not watching a video that long. I know from watching the various off road rescue YouTube channels what the dangers can be. I think I have a pretty good idea how to...
