22' Wildtrak - replace front pinion seal at 15K...thought it was leaking again at 17.5K miles..turns out this time it is the front differential seal. Have used 4WD only a few times and nothing harsh...everything worked fine for a year and a half. Is the fix to replace the seal?..or is it a...
Recently, a study was done that addressed the question of how much energy would be produced if 100% of all the elements required for an EV cell were mined that would to into an EV cell that would power the globe..the result is that the cell would provide enough energy to power the globe for ...
Was or is a "crime" being committed? or to say it another way...did another man or woman experience an injury as a result of the tires sticking out?..was another man or woman's property damaged as a result of the tires sticking out?..or..was another man or woman's rights infringed upon as a...
Check the front pinion seal..several reports (including me) of front pinion seal failures. Had mine replaced once..not sure but mine may need it again..this is just under normal driving conditions as well....IMHO, it is a design flaw..you might want to check that
Re-design the FWD system (re: the front pinion seal leak - an obvious design flaw and failure of testing and quality control) - recall first and then incorporate into the new model year
Got the seal replaced a little over a month ago...maybe put 500-1000 miles on it since - all normal street driving and a bit of highway...looks like it is leaking again...this is an obvious design flaw and should warrant a redesign and recall for all parts effected
A bug deflector for the front of the hood that does NOT rest on the hood/paint. Used to have one (smoke colored) on my old 78' Bronco and it worked great for the front of the hood and the windshield
I believe this is a design flaw and Ford should issue a recall..this should not be happening at all especially with new vehicles and there are reports of multiple occurrences on the same truck within a short amount of time - 22" Wildtrak - 16K miles - normal driving - plus supply chain issues -...
Add yet another - 22' Wildtrak - 16K miles - normal driving - noticed during a routine oil change - leak is substantial and dealer will have for "awhile" (supply chain issue.....for parts). Will also be looking at the differential - this smells like a design flaw. How many here think this issue...
22' Wildtrak - 16K miles - normal driving - front pinion seal leak noticed during routine oil change - Dealer will have over a week (supply chain issue) and will also be looking at the differential - seeing several posts on here on this. This should not be happening and IMHO, it appears to be a...
Same thing here - 22' Wildtrak - substantial leak in front pinion seal - 16K miles, normal driving. Dealer will have for over a week (ordering parts - supply chain issue - no surprise here!) - will also be looking at differential. IMHO, this shouldn't be happening and it seems to me to be a...
2022 Wildtrak - 16K miles - normal driving - same thing - during routine oil change noticed front seal was leaking (and not just a little) - dealer will have it over a week - need to get parts (supply chain issues surprise..surprise!). How many think this is a design issue that will soon become...
2022 Wildtrak - 16K miles - front pinion seal leak (and not just a little!) - Dealer needs to get parts - supply chain issues (surprise..surprise!)..they will have it over a week - will also be inspecting the differential as well. Just normal driving - this should not be happening at all - how...
Front Pinion seal leaking here as well...and not just a little. just normal driving and only 16K miles. Dealer will have it over a week - supply chain issue with parts (surprise surprise....) - and also going to have a look at the differential as well. How many think this is a design issue...
same here...at 15k miles...front pinion seal leak - 22, WT - normal driving - defective part, poor install and/or poor design. Ford needs to own this and fix them all. Any TSBs on this problem?
Exactly!...Has anyone really looked at your "Certificate of Title"?...you know - the one the DMV gives you after you turn in the real mfg title to the DMV?...all for the "privilege" of "driving" on a public road...did you all know (BY LAW!) that "driving" is only for "commerce"?.....since most...
I guess they need the bailout for something! The amount of energy it takes to produce an EV from mining the materials to final production is staggering! -- https://ipatriot.com/ford-announces-4-5-billion-loss-because-americans-uninterested-in-buying-electric-cars/
