Never could figure why anyone seriously into off roading would opt for a long wheelbase like 4drs all have which make it harder to go over obstacles. The old army jeep and CJ5 are the ultimate full size vehicle for getting in and out of tight places and I'm hoping the new 2dr Bronco will match...
Thanks for the input. Does the camera allow one to see what each wheel may be about to go over in the next few inches. Often climbing trails or decending i have to get out examine exactly where my wheels will go then get back in move a few inches and then repeat over and over in order to...
whats wrong with a front camera?
When i got in a badlands at the dealer the first thing that jumped out at me was the poor visability in front. I'm used to Ford trucks in which the front fenders kind of lower just a tad which greatly improves the drivers ability to see potential hazards. That...
Why not put them on the roof? The wider doors of the 2dr make getting in and out easier. Wasn't sure about that since i have yet to see a 2dr in the flesh. thanks for the info
I sat in a bronco at my local dealer and immediately noticed the lack of front visability. The long square front makes it hard to see what may be in front of the grill which for me would require the addition of a camera so i can see what i am about to run over. To be honest i did not like the...
4dr is useless, to hard to manuver in trees rocks or dirt. 4dr is better suited to city life and hauling kids. 2dr is the only game in town as far as I'm concerned
I wasn't thinking. Sorry. I like to explore the desert when its not windy. I especially like the solitude of the desert whcih is fast becomming a thing of the past.
Three or four hours north could be around here.
Which is just east of this.
Such contrast. I took these pix when i left...
What i found was it is only available on the sport and only in one trim package the Outer Banks. Would work for me but i'm not interested in a four door station wagon just want a small 2dr like my 68 was.
On my 2012 gold TDI they worked fine
chuckle...funny thanks for the laugh. So your saying you would rather wear blinders to pending dangers around you? Surprisingly if you think about it, most people do that to some extent.
mAKE SURE BOTH GEAR BOXES ARE IN NEUTRAL BEFORE TOWING. YOU NEED A STRAIGHT 30 WEIGHT DIESL MOTOR OIL. tHE ONLY ONE I CAN FIND IS DELO CONVENTIONAL 30 WT. FORMULATED FOR DIESEL ENGINES. tHIS OIL IS DESIGNED FOR OLDER ENGINES...
Glow plugs????...don't think mine has glow plugs. If it does i have never noticed them. This tractor has never needed much attention except for occasional lubes oil changes. If it runs out of fuel you have to bleed the injectors takes maybe five minutes and thats it.
Your right they work much better than the ones on my VW TDI. Much more accurate with exceptoional speed correction as percipitation changes in value much to my surprise after the VW. The VW system worked well but it would get confused. Bought the jeep with the money from the buy back and $8...
I think there is a kit for rebuild? Saw one ....maybe on yesterdays trractors I think the repair kit is listed here. I found two kits for D engines on this page...
