I wanted to do a decibel test before and after but didn't get to. From an "eyeball test" level it is muuuch better. It is a 2 layer top and each layer is thicker/more insulated than the OEM top. Waiting for my first road trip at 80+, but all signs point to "much better".

It's a "manual" key if your fob battery dies and also acts as the physical key for the glove box and console.
It's metal and plastic when removed from the fob, so yes it's waterproof?

They usually do a separate switch and place it where you want, but they've said in the past it could be wired to the aux switches. Not sure 100% though.

Mytop used my Bronco for their prototyping, so I've had some hands on interaction with them and I can say the quality and build is way better than the OEM. I should be getting my production version I stalled in the next few weeks and am going to take lots of pics and post about it.
