This question on midpackage with Manual for Big Bend too, plus, if they won't offer for MY 2021, will they for MY 2022?

I had a lightbulb moment today... to get around the issue of no midpackage for MT on the Big Bend, what if I add the aux switches to power aftermarket heated seats and an auto dimming mirror? I don't really need everything in the midpackage, but those two things seem like pretty easy add ons...

I'm going manual because I miss driving one, before I had to get the current AT that I drive I only had manuals. They make me feel more in control on ice and snow. The only thing I'll miss about an auto is being able to eat and drive at the same time...?

I just tried it myself and they responded that this current B&P is preliminary and the full B&P will be released when ordering is open. I gave them my suggestions anyway... can't hurt, squeaky wheel and all that.

It's a valid question, so have reached out to the dealership that sent it to me to ask them whether Ford sent them this, or if they created it for their own ease of answering customer questions. I'll update this post if they respond.

I'm glad you started this thread and I hope Ford is paying attention... they're going to price me out forcing me to go up to a Badlands to get a manual with mid and I was willing to continue to be patient with their shenanigans, but if they don't fix it, I'm now willing to walk away.

That means upgrading all the way to a Badlands because the Black Diamond won't do it either... I really hope it's just a glitch because that's a pretty crappy way to try to get me spend more $$$. I just wouldn't do it.

I keep thinking/hoping they'll fix this. It seems to me the only reason the B&P forces the AT on us is because of the remote start. So, why couldn't they allow us to get a mid without the remote start?? All this girl wants is a MT with heated seats ... Please????
